Family owned and well cared for. Nice people. Easy parking. Super close to town. Lots of flowers. Clean. Would return. Continental breakfast. Couldn't find wifi server or get online, but that's not a big issue.

Our 90 year old Hostess/Owner is lovely. The Inne is immaculate as are the grounds. We were escorted to our room by a very nice young man who helped with our bag. The room itself was spotless. It had a canopy bed, a fireplace, a TV , a nice shower and a Jacuzzi tub. The continental breakfast was just enough to...

We stayed in room 8 which was basically clean, but looked like it was decorated during the Truman or Eisenhower administrations. The breakfast was agreeable, but no where close to a full breakfast. There was some hair in the back of the bathtub when we checked in as well, but otherwise the place was clean. And the location worked very...

Best hotel I've been too! You can park right outside of your room! The best pool ever! When I wasn't at the beach, I was in that pool! I could get to the ice machine in just a couple of steps from my room! And they had excellent breakfast! It is also very convenient because Mystic Market is right across...

For the price, the room was pretty average if not sub-par. Decor (fake flowers) from the 80's. Broken window blinds - couldn't open and they had slats missing that we had to cover up to ensure privacy. We had a dead bug on our bathroom floor (cleaning staff did get that). Plenty of bath towels but not a single hand...

Our group included an 11 yr old to 86 yr old, and everyone was very happy with the accommodations! IF you are looking for a quiet retreat at the end of a day of sightseeing--this is perfect. The inn is still family owned and operated and it definitely shows! They were friendly and very personable at every turn, and we...

As a result of an unexpected "glitch", I required a place to rest my head on Tuesday night. With no opportunity to shop for accommodations at 7pm, fate provided Taber Inn, a family owned and operated lodging, as my solution. My stay was a bit of an emergency & I requested the lowest rate possible offering my AAA & AARP...

The service was exemplary. The staff is very attentive. We arrived late looking for a place to have dinner. They went out of their way to make suggestions and to let us know which restaurants were already fully booked. The room was clean and had ample room for 2 people to move around comfortably. There were places to sit outside...

Our getaway to Mystic Seaport was enhanced by the folks at Taber Inn. The room's decor, cleanliness and location far exceeded our expectations. For a family owned and managed hotel, they all go above and beyond their call of duty to suggest the best restaurants and key locations in the area. We will definitely return to the Taber Inn!

Nice place, quiet and safe. A small and friendly family hotel with good service. More on the romanic side. Close to everything. We got the help we asked for. I can absolutely recommend the hotel. Mystic is a beautiful place with good restaurants.
