We found the Mermaid Inn to be a warm, comfortable B&B whose owner, Josephine, made us feel extremely at home and added wonderful touches, such as, the yummy choc chip cookies with nuts, and of course a delicious 3 course breakfast. We'd go back.

We decided to go to Mystic for a couple of days and I found the Mermaid Inn on Tripadvisor. The 3 course breakfasts was great, as well as the cookies and beverages provided throughout the stay. Mermaid Inn in within walking distance to the Seaport and downtown Mystic. It's also a short drive to the Mystic aquarium. We would definitely...

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay at the Mermaid Inn-the room was beautifully decorated and the furnishings were true to the New England style and mystique that I grew up with. The inn is well kept and well thought out and the food was unreal! You could have breakfast at a five star restaurant but you would not get better...

We really enjoyed this terrific B&B. Very convenient to everything in Mystic. The breakfasts were wonderful, and the snacks and treats were unexpected and awesome. The hosts were totally welcoming. There was a minor repair job going on on the front porch when we were there, so the host included a complementary bottle of wine for the "inconvenience" (which didn't...

We had warm cookies waiting for us with fresh tea and coffee. Our room was nicely renovated with special add ons such as chocolate, liquor, and...

The Mermaid Inn was a great bed and breakfast with nice decor and friendly hosts. The breakfast each day was more than excellent- we didn't have to eat lunch either day because breakfast was so big! It was also great that we could not only choose options for breakfast, but also that we could choose the time we wanted it...

We were hesitant about staying in a B&B for a business meeting. It turned out to be the best meeting we have ever had. Environment encourages creativity and team building. Besides the good food and comfort, internet access large rooms to meet in and great downtown location. Some team members walked downtown and sat on the dock for their brainstroming...

This is a charming, friendly, positively LOVELY B&B ideally located near all the Mystic sites. Fluffy pillows, comfortable beds, private baths & beautfully appointed rooms with wonderfully indulgent extras such as flat screen tv, fluffy robes, a mini-fridge with beverages, chocolates & Courvoisier.
