As others have mentioned, this is a nice place near Yale. I am going to assume it is near Yale, as we could not see it from our window. Rooms were small, but bed was comfy, bathroom had hot water. Even though the hotel barely had anyone in it, we got a view of the ghetto parking garage. I mean for $338, I was expecting a little more, especially since it barely had anyone in it. Restaurant was ok. Loud and lively, and full of students talking. Service was slow, and my order had to be corrected twice. Parking is $20. Be careful in the parking garage - it is tight so don't back into one of the columns. Again, it was pretty, but for the price I would not stay there again.

Room Tip: You can beg for a view, but unless you are a YALE graduate, you aren't going to get it.

I just spent a very nice 3 day weekend staying at The Study. The location is absolutely perfect for great restaurants and touring the Yale campus. My room was nice with a view of Yale. Noah at the front desk was so personable and helpful, from the day I checked in to my departure- suggesting restaurants, helping with questions for my first visit to New Haven, and even saving me a paper on Sunday. He was awesome! I would only stay here if you are visiting New Haven and want to be able to walk to everything ...and especially if you have students at Yale.

No valet parking Because of Covid so it is self park. This parking garage is the tightest I have ever seen. It was very difficult to park the car even with the garage attendant giving directions. I am already dreading trying to get out tomorrow. It is very noisy outside the room and in the hallways. I can hear every word my neighbors are saying. I will not be returning.

I can't begin to describe how great this place is: customer service with a smile, heavenly beds, great internet, a totally awesome lobby to relax in, great copious amounts of coffee in the lobby and a fantastic restaurant. It just felt like being home.

Upgrade from King with view to Suite (#611) was much appreciated. Beautiful campus view with large clean windows. Bed was comfortable. Surprisingly small bathroom with single sink and no storage. Water pressure was good but loud gurgling drain. No mini fridge. Parking spaces in the garage are tight.
