We stayed at this inn hoping to have a romantic getaway. The walls really are ridiculously thin. Our room was right next to the side sliding door, which made a huge 'BOOM' noise every time it was closed, and it wasn't locked until 10 pm. There was a huge group staying there at the same time, and they made a...

Thank you for your response. The hotel is circa 1870 and is one of the most structually sound buildings in New Milford. The walls have been insulated and the 12ft ceilings allow for sound to be contained within each guest room. Since renovating and reopening the hotel we are pleased to bring our guest custom furniture, bedding, wall mounted flat...

I recently stayed at the Inn on Business and so glad that it is open again. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Having the wireless internet access throughout the rooms was a great advantage. The flat screen television on the wall were a huge plus. Each morning I was able to ask for scrambled eggs, french toast or waffles....

Stayed at the Heritage Inn last weekend. Rooms were nothing more than oridinary. TVs are way to small and so are the bathrooms. There were small holes in our room. For a self proclamined historic inn the paintings on the wall of our rooms could be found at a tag sale. Also it very very noisy, espically if you are...

The Heritage Inn harks back to the pre-Interstate days of travel in New England, before national motel chains penetrated the more remote areas, and luxury B&Bs, with exquisite furnishings and gourmet restaurants became a normal part of the New England travel scene. The Inn's host mentioned that Joe and Rose Kennedy once stayed there; you can imagine them winding up...

The Inn was closed for a period of time from June 2005 through August 2007. During this time extensive renovations were completed on the property and we now offer a beautiful boutique style 20 room bed and breakfast. The Hotel offers 20 individual guest rooms with separate bath, wall mounted flat screen televisions, wireless internet access, 12ft ceilings, Managers Reception...

Planned two nights at this Inn but checked out early. Room 29 overlooked a busy street with a rail crossing. Every vehicle crossing the tracks was like a crack of thunder. The bedding was quite rough and my entire family complained of itching from the linens. The available descriptions are misleading. This quaint and historic inn is not blissful nor...
