The owners and Inn keepers at Hopkins Inn in CT do an absolutely wonderful job of making the most important day stress free and perfect. Beautiful setting, wonderful food, clean and well appointed rooms, and the best staff! A winery on site view and access to a wonder lake was just icing on the cake!

We dined on the patio with friends we were visiting that we met on a River Cruise last fall. The weather was sunny and warm and the view of the lake & surrounding area was beautiful. The menu has lots of exciting choices and the service was excellent. We are so glad we got to experience such a memorable place.

Once again, we stayed in the Annex while visiting family in Warren, CT. The Annex Apartment is just perfect for us. My husband and I, as well as our grown daughter, had not only plenty of room to move around, but a television to view, a landline to use and the added bonus of a refrigerator AND a stacked washer...

I had visited the Hopkins winery and the restaurant a few times in previous years and being a lifelong CT resident, I was struck each time I went there how such a beautiful inn/restaurant/winery existed in my home state and I hadn't visited them until my mid-30's! I am SO glad I found this beautiful gem! My mom and I...

Beautiful setting, quaint old house, good food...but thin walls, tiny shower - and really wish 1) they had mentioned during booking that our room's bathroom was across the busy front hall and 2) that the hall vacuuming didn't start at 7:30am

In town and needed a one night stay on a Saturday night. No problem. Nice room on second floor overlooking lake. Very quiet. Very clean. Not over the top fancy but more than adequate. Note, no TV but that was fine. They did have wifi which was nice. Bathrooms are small so do not be surprised. Setting of the hotel...

We lucked out with a one-night Saturday night last-minute reservationin the Annex. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. There is a winery next door- which was perfect because we didn't need to drive anywhere! Although there are no hiking trails close-by, the owners directed us to a secluded beach area where we walked around and enjoyed wonderful...

The rooms were bad. It was a bed and a broken tv. No cell service. When I called the number they gave me to call, their was an angry woman on the other end and was complaining about having to do her job. She came to the room (which was above her house) and banged on the door and when...

Have eaten here on and off for 23 years. Setting is one of the best in western connecticut, overlooking lake waramug. This time of year with foliage at its peak and the sun setting over the lack, outstanding. The menu hasn't changed much in all the years. Had a nice glass of ventliner. Only available by the glass, couldn't figure out...

The setting of this Inn is amazing! The view is beautiful. However, the beds are rock hard, the pillows are flat and the showers are so small that it is hard for a thin person to even turn around. You are paying for the view not for a good night's sleep.
