This is an interesting hotel right on the shores of Lake Titicaca. There is an original building and a newer building that both have accommodation.we were originally placed in a room in the main older building. This was extremely basic and compact and would be best described as a 1950's motel room. We were then moved (i think at the...

This hotel is a wonderful, unexpected gem seemingly in the middle of nowhere, beside the beautiful Lake Titicaca and representing a stunning display of Andean culture. I always enjoy my stay here, especially the delicious fresh trout at the restaurant. I've never had better trout.

Stayed here for 1 night last September (sorry been busy since we got back!) on our way to La Paz. A large and somewhat strange hotel by the lake with a separate museum of local culture, some llamas, and interesting story about the famous Kon Tiki expeditions Also a chance to see a local shaman - all a bit gimmicky...

We have arrived in heaven, in a world where nature is wild, dominant and respected, with othentic cultural origines and great up to date services and activities, they have a private museum and telescope where each year NASA come explore from the incredible POV. We need more places like this around the world. Sincerely,

We thought it looked a bit strange but it was a great summary of the local culture Myths and facts , worth the journey just to see the Museum . The accommodation was acceptable and had great views across the lake

This lovely hotel on the shores of Lake Titicaca hosts three small but well appointed museums on site and a small telescope for star gazing. The first museum is dedicated to the history of the region. An mp3 player is given to the guest in her language of choice; Spanish, English, and German. There are tasteful dioramas focusing on Bolivian...

This property is located on the shore of Lake Titicaca at Huatajata. We traveled from La Paz to the Lake Titicaca area by driving through Huatajata and stopped for breakfast before heading further to Copacabana. After spending 1 night at Isla del Sol, we returned by Hydrofoil directly to this location. The rooms are decent/spacious and heaters in the room...

I was really impressed to stay here even though I saw some not too positive reviews. In fact, even though the room we had was small and unpretentious, the overall experience was enjoyable. We were in room 304 of the tall building adjacent to the main structure. There were 2 twin beds with a wall mounted flat screen TV and...

Pleasant hotel, pleasant staff, but slow on the knowledge that as guests they should be available to help. No introduction to the hotel and available services didn't happen. The area around the hotel felt very intimidating, thought we were entering a war torn desolated country. The bed linen was clean, the bed comfy, had a good sleep. The breakfast provided...
