Just stayed at the Inn this past weekend, visiting family, and enjoying summer in Mystic. The inn keeper Michael is a great guy, and a wealth of info on local happenings. He knew we were visiting family, and invited my two boys to join us...More

The Thoreau as it is located off the Keeping Room and near the kitchen and dining room is usually quiet. The Main Inn sits up close to the road so perhaps road traffic could be an issue if you are lite sleepers. Most of my guests have enjoyed staying in the Thoreau Room except for the fact of the road traffic. The Keeping room does not really gather much guests as all Tv's are located in the guest rooms. We look forward to you staying with us sometime soon. Kind Regards, Michael
