I had a five-day business trip to the area. The Deacon Pratt Inn was a beautiful place to stay. There were all kinds of special attentions, including first-rate coffee (a special concern of mine!) and everything spotless and in perfect working order (including the welcome jacuzzi). My evenings were like a mini-vacation within the business trip. The breakfasts were great,...

We have stayed at the Deacon Pratt Inn for the third time. We stayed in the Main House the first two times and enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. This weekend, we stayed in the Chimney Room next door in the James Soda Gallery building. The room was romantic with canopy bed and gas fireplace. Do not hesitate to stay in...

Excellent place to stay. Very friendly, clean and minutes from great restaurant. Breakfast is great but only served from 8:30-10am. A bit early for me. Rooms are clean and each room has a different theme.

For a simple, quiet getaway, this is a great place to go to. The rates were a bit high especially when the breakfasts both mornings were not too appetizing. The pastries were fairly good but after this experience, I would have rather had breakfast in town. The fireplace and oversize jacuzzi in the English Cottage room was perfect!

My wife and I had been three times before to the Deacon Timothy Pratt Bed & Breakfast in Old Saybrook, CT, but always in high summer. This time we decided to get away from New York City to Old Saybrook in some of the coldest weather of the year, with snow on the ground and the rivers and coves frozen...

We stayed at the Deacon Timothy Pratt Bed and Breakfast for two nights, and wished we could have stayed longer! The Library Room was the perfect choice for us. It was very conveniently located...close to the front door, parlor and dining room. Especially enjoyed the fireplace in the room, and the decorative touches in our room, and throughout the property...

My husband and I stayed at the Pratt B&B on a very wintry weekend in January - the weather was cold and snowy, but the atmosphere inside the house was warm, cozy, and so friendly. Our innkeeper welcomed us with a tour of the house, including an invitation to enjoy tea or coffee anytime in the dining room, as well...

I booked a stay here to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday and it was perfect. We both loved it. We stayed in the chimney room, which is very cozy (especially with the fireplace going). When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and he gave us the grand tour and also some recommendations for dinner. Breakfast both days...
