I loved my four-night stay at this extremely pretty guesthouse. Liuba is a lovely lady who takes real pride in running it and the first thing you notice is the beautiful garden which is a treat to spend time in, with several places to sit. The room was very nice with good wifi and the village is very quiet, so I slept well every night. Another big selling point is the food. As well as the breakfasts, I had the optional dinner every evening: really tasty traditional food with wine. There's plenty to see in the area: the ridgetop monastery and cave monastery in Butuceni (40 minutes' walk) with gorgeous views, or in the other direction - west from the Vila - there's a lovely walk through the neighbouring village of Old Orhei following the river as it winds its way north, with superb riverside scenery and kingfishers. This place is definitely worth a visit on any trip to Moldova. My advice: book directly through the Vila's own website, you'll pay a lot less that way. The Vila can arrange a taxi from/to Chișinău if you need it (I guess it would be an hour's drive from the city centre), but you can also get there by rutieră (minibus) from Chișinău bus station, they go roughly every 2 hours from morning to early evening and the buses to Butuceni/Trebujeni can stop at the Vila if you ask the driver. The minibus journey from the Vila to the bus station took me about 1.25 hours. You can put a suitcase in the back.…

Vila Roz has left the best impressions! Very hospitable hosts, delicious Moldova national dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wines list, very tasty homemade food like at grandma. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

A very nice, quiet and clean place, with some great and authentic countryside vibes. Mrs. Liuba is a very welcoming host, and a great cook - everything on VIla Roz's menu is homemade and delicious. Also, there is a very well maintained garden full of roses. A great place to spent some summer days in Moldova!

The hostess is kind & welcoming. She couldn’t speak English but translated using Google. The accommodations are basic, but it was the best part of our trip. We also took the dog for for a few walks. Thank you!!

One of my best experiences so far. Great food, friendly host and clean rooms. This place has a great garden full with roses and great atmosphere. A place where you want to come back at least once a month. The best local dishes and lots of stories to speak about.

I got Trebujine cycling that was gonna start raining. As lot of "Pensiunea"/Guest houses in Romania and Moldova they allow to pitch the tent in their garden and uses the common facilities such as Shared Barthroom. We booked half board and both dinner and breakfast were incredible in both quality and quantity with local traditional food done also with local ingredients. The ladies in their 60s running the business were friendly and charming and although they didn't speak any English my basic russian was enough to communicate and even share some jokes. Although they don't speak English they had menu and other stuff translated to English and they have free wifi thus you can always use Google translate. Do not allow language barrier to stop you from staying in this place. Nice and highly recommended. Notice that I didn't see the rooms because as pointed we pitched the tend in the garden. Pitching the tent, using bathrooms and half board was all for about 16€ at the exchange of the time.…

I contacted Olga by e mail before we arrived and she arranged for a car to collect us from the bus station in Chisnau. All communications were answered promptly. The bus was 30 minutes late but thankfully the car was waiting, parked right in front of the bus stop. The lady who runs the guest house uses google translate very effectively to communicate and made us really welcome. As others have said, the food and wine were delicious and the room was super clean. We were the only people staying so we had the shared bathroom to ourselves. After a hearty breakfast we walked to the monastery which is well worth a visit. It was great to be staying in the countryside and when we left, the owner waited at the bus stop with us to make sure we were ok. I’d recommend staying here if you intend to visit the monastery rather than just doing a day trip. The bus to Chisnau took just under an hour. The car from there when we arrived cost approx 20 euros. …
