#3 of 11 Speciality lodging in Lodtunduh
Villa Beji Mawang offers graceful and luxurious living in a serene and virtually secluded setting, with a picture-book view of the Ayung River. It is just 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Ubud, the thriving cultural and artistic heart of Bali and yoga capital of South East Asia. The name “Beji” is derived from the holy spring temple the villa overlooks by the Ayung River and where villagers perform traditional ceremonial blessings. The allure of Balinese culture is blended with modern luxury in the architecture and facilities of the villa — idyllic for couples or groups seeking their get-away holiday, as well as for families who seek a very relaxing and secure environment. Guests frequently remark on the refreshing air that flows through the villa due to its siting above the river and next to picturesque teak trees, which add to the tropical outlook. Friendly and welcoming staff complement the excellent range of facilities available.

Can't fault this place at all. Family of 5 2 adults and 3 kids 9,8 and 4 stayed for 6 nights in October. Kadek and his staff were Amazing and so helpful nothing was too much trouble and always available when we needed anything. The villa itself has everything you need and being a little remote it was great to have no one else around we could relax in the pool all day. Couldn't reccomened higher and we will be back for sure!

Had an amazing holiday at Villa Beji Mawang! Kadek and his team were very friendly and always there for anything we needed. The villa is very clean and tidy, and in a very peaceful location. Food cooked by staff was great! We even had a massage by the pool and got our nails done which was great, and so easy, all organised by Kadek! Definitely looking at going back soon!

Yet another blissful holiday at Villa Beji Mawang Ubud! Kadek & his team are fabulous, they are willing to help us with anything we need to make us happy. There was a yummy addition to the breakfast menu this time, muesli with fruit & yogurt with a touch of mint..... just delicious 😋 I was given my favourite bedroom with an outdoor bathroom. One day I had a warm shower in the rain..... it was delicious! (There is a 2nd shower under cover.) We had 2 massages by the pool, I had a warm stone massage as usual, which was just lovely. One evening we had some friends visit us at the Villa, we had a lovely time swimming at sunset with champagne, followed by a yummy meal prepared by Kadek & team, followed by a few games of pool. Thanks for a wonderful time Villa Beji Mawang!

Villa Beji Marwang is such a beautiful place to stay. A wonderful, peaceful location above a river gorge that gives privacy and a lovely view. The staff are very helpful and make sure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. The bedroom was excellent - tons of space and so well looked after. And Kadek's cooking was always tasty and so fresh. The infinity pool is beautiful to swim in and a massage by the pool just has to be on your list. It's great when your second visit is as good as your first. We will be back!
