We stayed here for 6 weeks in early 2011. It's a family friendly location with a number of families staying in the compound. Staff are friendly, and we were pleased that breakfasts were included in the cost as it meant we didn't have to worry about getting out and about until mid morning. Our only issue was the dogs we...

I stayed on the Bali T House, on June 21st -24th 2012. Overall my stay was a pleasant experience, It has an awesome surrounding with very affordable price but the service and the condition of the house I rent, turned me off a little bit. In the beginning, the booking is not that easy after all. When I was I...

We absolutely loved our stay in Ubud at the lovely Bali T House in a traditional village near Ubud. We chose Green T house for our 3 week holiday in the compound and we were immensely happy with our choice.. The booking process was efficient with the owner, and we found it to be overall superb value for money. Firstly,...

We spent 15 days in Thouse Kaja house right on rice fields. The house is spacious enough for everyone to chill in their own space if needed. The best bit is it's like you are living in nature. Going to sleep each night with the sound of frogs was better than any meditation cd you can buy. We stayed with...

The BaliThouse us a beautiful rural hideaway just outside Ubud. We split our time between Hibiscus (stunning T house with great deck area on the edge of the rice paddies) and Ragamunga (equally beautiful T house set just back from the rice paddies). Both T houses have great rooms, spacious outdoor bathrooms, access to top plunge pools and are great...

From the start communication was wonderful with the owner. We just loved this place and totally relaxed. There was no air-conditioning but you don't need it as it not as hot in Ubud and there are fans over two of the beds and in one of the living rooms. The rooms flowed from one to the next and very spacious....

I have stayed in T house for 6 days. The place is very nice and the staff very helpful, but we left the place full of bites. It doesn´t look like mosquitos because I have repellent during the day, and at night we sprayed the mosquito nets. But in the morning there were many new bites in my body. Maybe...

i have made the right choice for choosing Damai T House, it has super paddy field view and it is also easy accessible to the pool. There is nothing i can not love until dusk, swarms of mosquitoes are everywhere, i certainly had a fun time killing mosquitoes with the electric bat provided by the villa, but miraculously they all...

We stayed at the t house in Sept this year for 6 nights. We stayed in Lapsang T house. This is the most amazing location, basically sitting in beautiful rice fields. The Lapsang had two bedrooms upstairs and with open walls. At night you fell asleep listening to all the animal noises, just beautiful. Our accomadation was very clean and...

My husband and I booked a week in a luxury villa in Seminyak and a week here expecting a really basic stay up in the hills of Bali. We adored the T House - the relaxed, basic feel helped us unwind and slow down. Sure, if you're looking for fluffy towels and steralised rooms you won't be happy here, but...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Absolutely stunning 1-3 bedroom private villas in a traditional rice farming and carving village only 5 minutes from central Ubud. Daily maid and breakfast service included. Beautiful shared pool with ricefield views. Unlike many other Balinese complexes, the unique Bali T Houses offers visitors the chance to stay in an environmentally friendly and ecologically sustainable compound, which is also part of Balinese village life and culture. Therefore there is the opportunity for much interaction with the local people and animals, whom you will observe working in rice-fields and gardens, dogs, roosters, cows, chickens, and so on, as well as passing through the houses walkways and working around them during their daily routines. If you're looking for a serene villa miles from village life this is not the place. ... more   less

“Houses at T House Kaja are better situated with more privacy than those at T House Klod. Heliconia has probably the nicest layout while Villa Mateh has a charming bedroom loft that overlooks the rice fields and large outdoor deck that's perfect for yoga or meditation. At T House Klod, Lemongrass is very spacious and good for large groups, but suffers from poor lighting in the indoor living room and ridiculous bathroom facilities. English Breakfast has a cute outdoor deck overlooking the rice paddies but is not so private due to proximity with rice fields.”
  • Our morning quacking visitors at Lemongrass
  • Looking out over the rice paddies from Villa Mateh
