We stayed the whole family for five days and had mixed experiences of our stay. The bungalows was very charming, and so was the surroundings: walking in soft sand under the shadow from the trees. But we was expecting that we could swim in the sea in front of the bungalows which is not an option as it is a...

Our stay was great from the point of being greeted from the speed boat by Cyrile the fab French/American manager, to the cocktail we got to revive ourselves, to a shower in our great open to the sky shower. Great rooms - quiet and private. Tasty food - fresh bread baked by Cyrile everyday. Brioche for breakfast, garlic bread/chilli bread/...

My wife and I have just left and it was an amazing 2 night getaway. The resort is perfect to switch off and do nothing. There is an infinity pool, kayaks and powerboats free of charge for you to use to cross the river to a private beach. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly especially Cereal (or Cyril) who...

The perfect 'get away from it all' boutique resort. Cyril, the resort manager was an excellent host and also baked incredibly deliciuos breads daily. A perfect deserted beach is a short kayak ride across the river - and a few small motorboats are available too to explore the area. We rode around the island a few times, which was fascinating....

I found this place looking around the area on the Internet. It went beyond expectations. Everything was perfect from beginning to end, which is a rare accomplishment these days. I paid the hotel to pick me up at the airport, which was wise and the driver was punctual. The speed boat was waiting at the pier upon my arrival. I...

After 2h drive you reach that peaceful and heavenly hotel! You'll be hosted by Cyril a lovely French guy who manages this place. We were here for 3 days with our 2 kids and spent such a good times! The room is ideal for a romantic stay but suits as well with children as the room is quite spacious! The...

This truly is a slice of paradise, your guaranteed to leave even after a few days feeling relaxed and refreshed! We stayed for 4 nights with my children 8 & 6, after the chaos of HCMC this was just what we needed. We were met off the speed boat by Cyril the hotel manager, who welcomed us to his resort,...

This is the most idyllic resort we visited recently in Vietnam. We were travelling with our two small children (8 and 6 years) and had a wonderfully relaxing stay here. As another reviewer mentions it really is a Robinson Crusoe island where you can truly relax and do nothing, however there is plenty to do if you want to. We...

Beautiful and wild beach resort with private comfortable villas. Perfect to relax and enjoy the calm and beauty of the coast and visit the fisherman villages around. Very good value for the price, nice and understated service.

If you want a real "Robinson Crusoe" get away for a few days, then Tam Hai fits the bill perfectly. Very quiet and isolated, it has a certain "shabby chic" feel but so long as you aren't expecting a 5* high end resort, you'll be fine. Sitting on the sandy shore, canoeing or cycling around the island helps you unwind...
