My husband and 2 of our sons came up for the local skiing for a few days. This is our first time staying in an Inn and away since March 2020. Our stay has been just as warm and friendly as the person with who we made our reservation. The White Hart Inn is charming, beautifully designed, and maintained. Each pillow and fixture has been well thought out. The team here is super friendly and warm. They welcome you with a smile and are at hand to answer any questions and be helpful. We are already planning our next visit.

The room they gave us was on first floor and the door is facing the street. Just like a motel. There was no sign of picture on website telling us that! You need to walk around entire building outside in the freezing temperature and open the door with an old key. This is not a 250 dollar room or a so called 4 star hotel should be like.

I have not stayed overnight in a hotel since the pandemic started, but needed to get away with my partner for a night. This place is a dream: our room had a king size bed with a beautiful tub and bathroom (Bigelow toiletries - love). The property is sprawling, so there were plenty of places to have a drink or meal by ourselves, without any concern for our safety. The cocktails are amazing (but not cheap) and the food is excellent; we had the former in front of the fire and the latter in a room by ourselves. The staff are SO nice and gracious; coffee and latte were free from Provisions, their on-site market. We also got free apps from the chef. We will be using this place for our safe getaway for the next many months and beyond.

On the positive side: Room was nice. Negative: Very expensive. Also, My wife and I are fairly healthy and there was nothing we could eat for breakfast. Finally they also tried to over charge us and I had to send them a digital receipt to sort it out. Don’t think I will return.

Dan and his staff are top notch when it comes to customer service! We are always made to feel at home and treatment is the best! The rooms are beautiful, clean and very nicely renovated. It is the perfect stately country inn. We love the food and it is nice to have a diverse choice that is offered.
