We had a lovely time at The Cornucopia. Beautiful, historic home in a quiet and quaint town. The best locally made breakfast. Great for a relaxing get-away. It is close to amazing restaurants and cute towns. A must if you are in CT.

Christine and Ed are gracious hosts that welcomed us from the start. Ed is very knowledgeable about the area and had many excellent recommendations. All of Christine and Ed's recommendations from restaurant to sight-seeing and antique shopping spots panned out great. We really enjoyed our trip to Woodbury/Southbury. The breakfast was excellent, the home made scones were very fluffy and...

We needed a room for just one night near Litchfield and found the perfect place. Cornucopia is a wonderfuly B&B. Not only was it beautiful, clean and comfortable but the inn keepers were so delightful and accomodating. The B&B is just a few minutes off of I-84 and very easy to access. If I have the opportunity or need to...

What a beautiful colonial this Inn is. We recommend it for both business and leisure. Innkeepers Christine and Ed can't be faulted in anyway. Beautiful service, wonderful rooms, luxury bedding, big fluffy towels and delicious, homemade breakfasts. The location, too, is both easy to find and accessible to all the area has to offer. Skip the tired business hotels and...

I do believe that the title says it all! Rachel and I decided to take a couple of days off from work and took the short and pretty ride from NYC through Central Connecticut. When we arrived, Christine gave us a tour of their beautiful home, built in 1818, and filled us in on the fascinating history associated with the...

What a pleasure to write a review of the Cornucopia. Having now returned to Australia for a few weeks, my husband and I look back so fondly at our stay at this little gem of a place. Thank you for such happy memories Christine and Ed - from the absolutely scrumptious homemade breakfasts, to the beautiful and tasteful furnishings, to...

My husband and our 1-year old daughter stayed at the Cornucopia for 3 nights during our honeymoon-trip. It was the best place in New England you could think of: The rooms are fantastic - spacious, clean, with lots of love for every detail. The hosts are absolutely fabulous, as is Christine`s home-made breakfast! Besides owning a wonderful, huge garden with...

I can just agree with the other reviews: this is a fantastic place: Christine and Ed are so friendly, the rooms are lovely, and lobby with the fireplace was hard to leave. And the breakfast - olala! Don't miss this place.

Ed and Christine welcomed us to their traditional, 1800 home, with open arms. The history of the building is very impressive and the public areas are inviting to lounge in. The B&B is located at the intersection of Rt. 6 and Rt. 67, just 2-3 miles from the I-84 exit. Breakfast included several kinds of yogurt (we liked Greek), fruit,...
