Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Inn at Stonington.
From the minute we walked in we felt at home. Friendly and warm reception which lasted the whole weekend.
We stayed in Room 11 which was even better than we expected. Wonderful view of...More
We had a wonderful time at this lovely Inn. It is beautifully decorated and so clean, and the staff could no have been more friendly or accommodating. The wine and cheese is an added plus, and the continental breakfast was just perfect. Our Monday night...More
Truly enjoyed our one night stay at the Inn at Stonington. The inn strikes the right chord - decor is lovely, fireplace in every room, but not overly fussy. Staff were gracious and attentive, but not too chatty. The breakfast was lovely - fruit, baked...More
Overall this place has great reviews but I always like to check out the not so great reviews when researching a place. My conclusion after staying here, don't pay attention to the few negative reviews, they are either written by vacation snobs who have unrealistic...More

They also serve fresh fruit. We had plenty to eat but we don't do big breakfasts. Parking is shared behind the inn with the restaurant. One night we came back from a day trip and the parking lot was full so we had to do street parking and move our car later in the evening. Too bad they don't have designated spots close to the inn. There is a very large parking lot next door but it is reserved for condos and you may get towed. Noah's was very good. So is Dog Watch and the new Dog Watch BBQ on the way to Mystic. Breakwater restaurant behind the inn is very good too. They had my favorite lobster roll. The inside is beautiful and you can eat outside and enjoy the water too. Can't eat outside at Dog Watch which is too bad.
