We have been to the Tolland Inn three times and can't speak highly enough of our experiences. Steve and Sue are wonderful hosts who are welcoming, flexible, and great cooks. The inn is gorgeous and comfortable. If you can treat yourself to the Treehouse Suite do so....it has a heavenly king size bed, hot tub, and beautiful view of the...

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Tolland Inn this past weekend. It was our first ever experience at a B and B. We Loved this Inn. The feel was cozy and inviting. Sue and Steve made us feel like we were visiting friends. The accommodations were comfortable- the bed was even more comfortable than our...

This is a gorgeous inn, immaculately kept, with a most welcoming and generous innkeeper. The Inn beautifully and tastefully mixes authenticity with every modern amenity, and it is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was ample and delicious. One of the innkeepers is a master woodworker and his incredible work is represented in each room. We had a few special needs that...

I never write reviews but this wonderful B&B was so exceptionally special I needed to take the time to acknowledge how much we enjoyed our stay! Thank you to Susan and Steve for making our two night so memorable. We were amazed to learn that Steve made almost all the furniture by hand... a true master craftsman. And many of...

Our first, regrettably brief stay in the Tolland Inn earlier the last week of September 2015 was exceptional in every regard. Despite our needing two rooms for only a single night, the owner was very accommodating. The beautiful inn was proximate to the main road in Tolland; ample, convenient parking. We were greeted late afternoon by a staff member, but...

There is little more one can say about the Tolland Inn that hasn't already been said. Susan and Steve run a delightful B&B and we thoroughly enjoy our 3 days/nights there. Room 7 is large and at the end on the Inn overlooking the garden area. If you are a woodworker or appreciate woodworking Steve's craftsmanship is a sight to...

My daughter and I stayed for one night on our return trip from Maine. Susan and Stephen were warm and welcoming, and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and we loved the furniture that Stephen makes. This place was very charming and I will definitely return again if in the area!

This is the real deal... a beautiful colonial Connecticut town (celebrating 300th anniversary) with homes surrounding the green and The Tolland Inn right in the middle of it all. The structure is genuine with rooms individually furnished in the period (no rope beds... don't worry). Steve, the proprietor, is a craftsman who has either refurbished or built much of what...

We spent 5 days here in May 2015 and had a wonderful time. the house is beautiful, there is ample parking right next to the house. Our innkeepers were welcoming, charming, informative and very good hosts. The room was very comfortable and breakfasts were top class. The Inn is very well situated, 5 minutes from the Interstate, with shops, cafes,...
