Regine could not be a more gracious hostess. Her home is just lovely, and it feels like you have arrived in Europe. The furnishings are elegant, but not fussy. We loved being greeted by her adorable dogs! Her breakfasts were so fresh and delicious, and our room, the Blue room, was like being in a treehouse! She is a delightful... More

My husband and I have a tradition of coming to Washington for our anniversary and staying at the Hidden Valley Bed & Breakfast. We are from the area and were married at the Mayflower Inn. Hidden Valley is an absolute gem of a bed and breakfast--honestly just as nice as the Mayflower but a much more reasonable price. Regine makes... More

My wife our 18 month old and me had the pleasure to spend one night in Regine's wonderful guest house. Such a lovely house and one of the best nights sleeps I had on our 2 week trip round the states. My wife was in love with the decor and has got lots of ideas for our place now... (thanks... More

This is a fabulous spot in Washington Depot CT. I was here on business and there isn't much to choose from in this area. This B and B is peaceful, luxurious and clean. The attention to detail by Regine is beyond what I expected for sure. The view from the blue room where I am staying is stunning. I would... More

This was well beyond the nicest B & B I have ever stayed in. I felt as if I was in a beautiful European estate in the middle of France! Regine, the owner did everything to make our weekend special. The beds were very comfortable with all the high end luxurious linens surrounded by beautiful artwork and books. Everything was... More

My 3 sisters and I met for a "Girls Weekend" . We traveled hours to this fabulous spot - it was well worth the trip. The Home is beautifully decorated with European antiques and paintings. It is close to wonderful boutique shopping but hidden away in a quite spot with magnificent views from the patio overlooking the Valley. The Inn... More

My wife and I did not quite know what to expect, since Hidden Valley is a bit hard to find and nothing about its entrance off the main road suggests what awaits you: wonderful views, a sense of serenity, attention to the smallest detail, and an utterly delightful and charming hostess. Magical and elegant.

There are not enough superlative words to do justice to Hidden Valley's stylish comfort and Regine's generous hospitality. Our family of four stayed for a week in August and it was the definitely the highlight of our USA trip. This part of Connecticut is very pretty so after a day of exploring picture-perfect towns and some superb easy hiking, Hidden... More

My fiancé and I just returned from a wonderful 2-night getaway at Hidden Valley. We stayed in the Blue Room, which boasted a luxurious king-sized bed, lovely decor, and stunning views of the surrounding hills. I was also incredibly impressed with the level of care and maintenance throughout the home: our room was immaculate (not a speck of dust in... More

Truly Incredible!! I never thought I could feel like I am in south France and still be the U.S.! We travel yearly to France and now I have the same beauty and experience here. The gardens and views are breathtaking and the breakfast was five star. The owner was very attentive to all our needs and made our whole family... More
