My two teenage daughters and I stayed at the lodge on our arrival day in Tanazania. The lodge is very convenient to Kilimanjaro airport and is a welcome respite after a long day of travel. The grounds are very well manicured. Be sure to look out for the local wildlife: monkeys and small deer like animals which I understand to...

We stayed two nights here after a climb on Kili that did not go as planned. The staff at this hotel were so gracious and really looked after everyone from our group as best they could. The grounds of the Lodge are amazing, lots of unique plants and so many small animals (monkeys, dik dik and birds). There is a...

We spent our first two nights in Tanania at the Arumeru River Lodge. After 25+ hours of travel with four children ages 5 - 10, we were thrilled to be welcomed to the beautiful grounds with hot washcloths and cool drinks. The manager and his staff were super friendly and made us a delicious meal, even though it was nearly...

As an introduction to our safari experience this lodge was great. Good facilities in the room with mosquito net for the bed, tasty food, comfy bar/lounge to relax in and really pretty grounds with visiting dik dik and vervet monkeys for entertainment. Manager, Brett and all his staff were very welcoming and helpful. We didn't try out the swimming pool...

We stayed at this lodge upon arrival and the day before departure. After 24 hours of travel it was a welcome sight. The cottages were very nice, clean, comfortable beds and very quiet location. The staff were very nice and helpful, the main lodge area was comfortable and very nicely done. After breakfast which was tasty and very good, we...

Nice Lodge great after a long flight. GREAT FOOD, good service and friendly staff. Fun wildlife surrounds the grounds making them even more beautiful. Owners do a nice job and make you feel at home. I have stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times on our way to the parks.

We stayed at Arumeru for a wedding weekend, warm welcome, nice entrance, rooms are well presented, great pressure shower. Lovely pool area. The only criticism would be that there was no fridge or safe in the room. As well as a very basic breakfast that wasn't topped up regularly considering the numbers they knew they had. Over all it is...

We've stayed here a few times and enjoy the setting here. It's consistently good and reasonably priced. We definitely have noticed an improvement of service with the 'new' owners (been several years now) and think the food has also improved over the years. A good mid-budget option.

Beautiful lodge with large, high-ceilinged rooms and sophisticated décor. Fantastic garden architecture - home of many Dikdiks. We received warm hospitality from the management and the whole staff. We will come back for sure !
