Stayed this past week, was just looking for a bed for a night. Saw all the bad reviews but couldn’t beat the price. Easy check in, room was clean and seemed to be somewhat updated. Have I stayed in better? Yes but I’ve stayed in worse. If you need a bed, shower and clean room, it fits the bill

This is what I get for searching for the cheapest room.... Room smelled of those strong, musky "ethnic" oils you get at the flea market. Extremely offensive to the senses. Awoke the first night at 3 am to the sound of some hoodrat screaming "let him go Hakeem" to look outside and find a dozen ghetto mofos bashing each other's brains in... Bathroom light didn't work properly, tv only had 3 channels of which only 1 worked properly. People upstairs must be on meth because they didn't stop stomping back and forth for nearly 96 hours (no, I'm not kidding) cleaning lady barges into our room then realizes we are in there and gives an attitude asking (why are you still here!?) Umm maybe because it's paid for 2 more days lady..... Almost forgot to mention the curly afro hairs all in the blanket and the toenails in the bedsheets, not to mention the filthy floor. Oh and the room had a bitty coffee pot complete with sugar and creamer, but NO COFFEE... The one cleaning lady was very pleasent and knocked on the door, asked if we needed anything and said feel free to come to front desk with any questions or concerns. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks somewhere else.

The really kind staff here should truly apply to work for a different hotel. The pictures on line were totally deceptive and did not show the filth on the doors, the hole kicked through the bathroom door, the stains and burns on the bed comforters, the hair in the bed .... two rooms and both were equally awful! Econo lodge would do well to demolish this location and rebuild a new building as the location was convenient.

My husband and I were on a celebration road trip from Ohio to Maine. We chose this hotel because it was a member of Choice Hotels. This is by far the WORSE experience we have ever had with a hotel. The front desk staff was rude and condescending. He refused to look up my Choice Rewards ID then said the computer was down. The room was gross. The bathroom and sink area only had ONE HAND TOWEL. The front desk and housekeeping never answered my calls. When I went back to the front no one came to the desk. Only good thing was the bed..or maybe we were just that tired!!! We were NEVER told that there was breakfast so we missed it couldn't even get a cup of coffee! Never again stay far away!
