After a 20 mn boat ride from Mersing, we discovered this little paradise ! The island is tiny, cute..perfect for holidays pictures ! Turquoise water, white sand, flying foxes and sometimes turtles..!! The hotel itself was a very good surprise considering the price. After many small islands in Malaysia, we were not expecting that quality. This is obviously a quite...

Before I launch into a list of cons, I will admit that the island and setting are everything that you would want from a tropical island: soft white sandy beach, clear blue warm water, backdrop of interesting jungle to be explored or not. However, if you don't like bats, you will hate this place. Sadly, the sound of the bats...

Pulau besar is a hidden jewel. My family and parents stayed at Aseania at the end of May and early June just before the start of Ramadhan. We were initially considering done resorts in Pulau Tioman, but the boat ride was 2 hours compared to a quick 30min ride to Pulau Besar. What attracted me was the long white sandy...

We already went with minimal expectations as we've stayed in awesome places around besar, including rawa, sibu & tioman. The resort staff were excellent, the huts are abit old, not the cleanest sheets, but we had a pleasant stay nonetheless. The food was surprisingly decent. The saturday night BBQ had the best satay. The beach was clean, the waters were...

PROS: White sand, clear water, helpful staff, great BBQ buffet for dinner, big rooms, great value for money, not crowded unlike Tioman CONS: lots of sand flies, limited selection for breakfast and lunch, facilities are not maintained properly

Buying of the tickets and the whole confusing situation was made easy thanks to the escort from the resort who gathered us and guided us through the whole ticketing process. I was amazed at how clean and clear the seawater was when arrived at the beach. Welcomed with a drink and the check in process was quick and easy. I...

Had a wonderful time at the beach. We were not able to do some other activities though cause we enjoyed the beach and pool. The barbeque dinner is nice. They have prawns, mutton, fish and satay. We also enjoyed the breakfast. They served toast, cereals, noodles, sausage, eggs and fruits

This is a family trip for us in group of 17 include kids/babies/elder. Booking is easy via email communication with Resort office. Specially thanks to Ms.Wati who reply/answer promptly on all the queries that we sent in email on the room details/island info. Check in at Mersing Jeti office (Plaza D'Jeti), we're not very happy with the check in process,...

Overall good experience, good food and friendly staff. just that poor water supply & beware on swamp of mosquitoes. Pleasant place to relax yourself, not to expect so much on the corals that is scattered and few.
