The suite was clean, for the most part. The layout was nice, like a condo setup. Bed in one part, TV & couch in another, the kitchen in another part of the suite. Decor was nice, and the suite was dark & quiet at night. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen utensils adequate, silverware, spatula, pot, pan, toaster, plates, bowls, cups, paper towels. The front desk will help out if you forgot something, they gave us ketchup packets.

There was dog hair on our couch, as the hotel allows pets. The GFCI in the kitchen didn’t work, having to find another outlet.
A couple bugs / ants. Bathtub was the push the plug to seal the stopper type, didn’t work so well, showers better.

The best thing about this place was the customer Service. The night receptionist (think Jessica) was the friendliest and most helpful we have ever encountered. She worked quickly to get us checked in after our exhausting travels and gave us all the important details. Loved the automated coffee machine and breakfast was decent. The room was spacious and a nice kitchen (we needed the fridge). Our only complaint was the marijuana & cigarettes smell in the hallways near our room. Luckily it didn’t enter our room but perhaps someone should monitor the level of “partying” occurring.

My girls and I had a marvelous, marvelous time there. We enjoyed everything about that hotel. This was my second time there and loved it so much I wanted to bring my kids back to stay for a min vacation. I wanted to stay there again but there was no rooms available. So I had to stay somewhere else and was very unhappy.

I had a recent stay with a group at this hotel. Upon arrival the hotel was dirty and the smell of marijuana was eminating throughout the supposed smoke free property. I believe this hotel is being used as a shelter for the homeless. There were shady characters roaming the halls at night and even someone smoking what appeared to be crack. The hotel is not a safe place to stay so avoid at all costs. You are better off sleeping in the street. Choice hotels should be ashamed of themselves by puting their name on this property.

I thought I reserved a double suite with 2 beds that turned out to be one bed and a sleeper sofa. And the shower made so much noise I thought I was going to fall through the floor. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The only thing I can think of is the location was good for where I wanted to be. We rented a king suite; it was nice and large. Was there for (3) days, September 2, 2022 to September 4, 2022.
Breakfast was not good. It was grab and go; coffee was good. We decided to purchase items to cook for breakfast. After we cooked, we started to see roaches, on our second day we were there. Reported it to front desk. They did offer us to change rooms, but we didn't. They said they would give a discount, but never did. I would not recommend staying there.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Smelled like pot and when it didn’t, the place smelled like mold. Our room door did not work. Not only did we get locked out, we got locked in!!! Large stains on the rugs, and furniture. The place was overall filthy. Management need to do a complete over haul to this place.

Be sure you want to stay at this location if you make a reservation because if you do not cancel this reservation this hotel will stilll charge you. I made a reservation at this location but I had a reservation at another location and I explained to the reservationist that I was not sure. The reservationist never advised that I was going to be charged the rooms if I made the reservation because I was within the 24hrs. I thought I was holding the room like most hotel policies if you do not show by checkin or call your reservation is canceled or they call you and if their policy is within 24hrs they definetly advise you that they will charge you for the rooms atleast giving you and option and not assuming you are aware.

I was in Dover to receive at friend's body home from Afghanistan at the Air Base and this hotel was for sure the place I could have stayed. The rooms are very large, beds are very comfortable, and the Staff was amazing. Even the midnight shift guy. They are all so friendly and accommodating.
My stay included breakfast, which I'm glad it did because of options available, and it was delicious. Not just a bagel and coffee.
If you ever have to go to Dover for any reason, this is the place to stay....
Thank you for making my stay wonderful!!

I had no idea that Delaware lawfully allows smoking in hotels. As soon as we walked into the lobby we were assaulted by the odor, even thought the receptionist claimed there were only 8 smoking rooms in the entire hotel (one of which we mistakenly booked. It was the only room available upon our arrival so we checked it out. Needless to say it reeked! Fortunately, the kind receptionist was able to book us a room at a smoke free Comfort Inn down the road. If not we would have been sleeping in our car before staying in that den of carcinogens!
