This was our 5th visit to Tradewinds. We don't even want to try a different place because this resort has exactly what we are looking for.I won't dwell on the often mentioned "tropical foliage","quaint cottage style".But i can't say enough about the pool area.Plenty of space and loungers for when you want to get away from the salt and sand for...

We loved our 3 night stay so much in the beginning of May that we are back again now May 25-29th! We had a North cottage #18 and loved the size of it, the amenities, the ability to sit on the porch and view the Bay and the pool. Immaculate place, friendly staff.

We have been going to the Tradewinds/Tortuga for years. Love the staff, the grounds, and the accomodations. Old Florida beats the high rises of other Florida destinations. There is no place better to relax and enjoy the uncrowded beaches.

Stayed in one of the cottages for a long weekend and appreciated the location, across the street from the beach and walkable to town. The pool is small but clean and has a nice view of the bay. Probably better suited to a longer stay given the cottage has a kitchen and living area, but given the reasonable price and...

My husband and I were guests in April for 5 nights in cottage 32. The island itself is gorgeous and we fell in love with the sand and the sun and the fabulous seafood! Back to the cottage, it is an average dated facility. Let's start with the bathroom: roomy and clean. Water was hot and plentiful. Bedroom: Bed was...

My wife and I stayed two nights at this great little resort. The cottages are vintage but well kept and decorated for a beach kind of place. Very clean inside and out with a great pool and just a short walk to the beach. We found good resturants and watering holes near by and only got in the car to depart....

we were there for 4 nights 5 days. The facility was a series of connected 2 room apartments- bed and combo living and kitchen. It's an older facility but well maintained and very clean. What we loved was the walking distance to Bridge St and the free island trolley just across the street from the entrance. The beach is right...
