We love the Tradewinds and keep coming back. Have stayed several places on the island and the Tradewinds is our absolute favorite. It is part location (central location perfect for restaurants, beach an shopping) and part the clean, comfortable units and friendly staff. We just...More
We stayed in hotel number 15 and were so pleased to see when we arrived (late in the evening, after 11pm) that the lights were on for us as well as the front outdoor light, so we had no issues maneuvering in the dark. Beautiful...More

We brought our dog on trip but as the previous reviewer said they are not allowed on beaches. We took her to the causeway beaches (the roads & bridges that go over water Anna Maria Sound). They're not "designated" dog beaches or dog parks but areas they are allowed. She loved it! The room had a visitor binder that had a list of restaurants that allowed dogs so we took her with us to some of them: "Maria's Family Place" and "Skinnys". She loved that too of course :)
