My family of 5 stayed in the "Cottage" a few weekends ago. It was perfect. It's definitely a taste of Old Florida, but it's clean and charming and situated in an amazing area. It's not really touristy, everyone is so laid back and friendly. You're a block away from Bridge street which has some amazing dining and shops. A 2...

We stayed here for 1 night and had a very nice stay. We arrived late and although the office was closed there was a note left for us with where to park and showing us to our room. The rooms are fairly small and kitsch but very cute an clean, with everything you could need. Our room had a (small)double...

For those of us who love the "old Florida" this is the place to be. Built in the 50's the Pelican retains the charm of the laid back days. Clean, comfortable, and perfect location. An easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The owners are friendly and helpful and continue to make improvements on the property. We had a...

Stayed in a suite with one queen bed and one single, one recliner, one stuffed chair, table and chairs, small kitchen, but furnished with dishes, cups, glasses, flatware, pots/ pans, dish soap, dish pan and drain and wash cloth and dish towel. The room was very clean, but the units are old and show signs of needing some TLC in...

There was a gal in the office just during the day and she left instructions on where to park and how to get to our room since we...

Our experience at Pelican Post was very nice and relaxing. It is within walking distance from a few restaurants and the beach. There is a cute homemade ice cream shop two blocks away that was excellent. We went the week of memorial day and it felt like we had the area to ourselves. the owner left us beach bikes to...

We stayed at the Pelican Post for three nights during our tour of Florida. We stayed in suite 2, basically a large room with a king bed, small kitchen, (bathroom off) a second bed room off the main room. For America and at $130/night, this is quite expensive (Certain properties during our visit were expensive, Key West upward of $140....Ft...

We had a great stay at the Pelican Post Motel, The King-sized bed was comfortable, The shower was big enough for 2! The room was hot at first but after turning on the A/C and getting a fan to blow the air into the second room, it was quite nice. The beach is very close, as are many shops and...

Best location for a price that cant be beat. You are one block from the Gulf and one block from the intercoastal. Bridge Street with its shopping, restaurants, music and drinks is just one block away. Once you arrive at the Pelican Post you never have to get back in your car.
