After long walk we were welcomed warmly by staff in bar and although busy our good quality food arrived quite quickly. Would recommend for a good lunch break - our party included two children and two dogs - and everyone was happy.

The room was absolutely gorgeous - if I could have picked up the bathroom & taken it home, I would! Roll top bath, huge modern shower cubicle....

This Public House supplied everything one could ask for. The accommodation was superb and spotlessly clean, and the food and drink exceptionally good.
Would have liked the menu to include a nice steak but otherwise, very good.
We stayed in one of the dog-friendly bedrooms and it was perfect - big bathroom and comfy bed. The tea tray had home-made flapjacks on it which was a nice touch.

Masons Arms is 20-25 mins away up a very steep hill, but only about 10 mins to get back! Wouldn 't recommend doing this at night. There is also a longer circular walk you can do via the Masons Arms. Kerry at the Hare... More
