While the Radisson Resort at the Port is celebrated for its prime location near Cocoa Beach and cruise ports, the hotel's atmosphere and amenities often receive mixed reviews. Travelers commend the friendly service, especially when it comes to cruise logistics, yet some report instances of disorganization.
Guests enjoy the convenience of the shuttle service, though they caution that noise can be an issue and the decor feels outdated. The value proposition is frequently questioned, as unexpected fees and the cost of food contrast with the older-looking rooms.

We stayed here the night before our cruise. As soon as we walked in the door, I met the famous Jonathan! He is awesome, truly a nice guy who honestly cares. Check in was a breeze, the food and our waitress in the restaurant were both amazing, and the pool area is gorgeous. It was too cold to enjoy, but I'm booking to stay here again before our next cruise. Super easy to get to the port from here. We had an old room. While it was spotless clean, it 1000000% was ready for a makeover. The carpet was stained terribly and hardly no finish left on the furniture. But, it was CLEAN and that was all that mattered to me. The display they have up showing what the rooms will be looks amazing. We also were able to see a spaceship take off, so that was amazing. We have two cruises from Canaveral next year, and we will be staying here both times.

We picked out the Radisson Resort at the Port for an overnight stay between two cruises at Port Canaveral. It's extremely well situated, approximately 6 minutes from the Disney Cruise Line terminal we were picked up from / dropped off at, and the hotel offered a shuttle service to the port on checkout day, which although not complimentary was very competitively priced (didn't check the final price, but circa $6-7 each, a lot cheaper than taxi options).
The place has a motel-style layout, and our room was pretty spacious with good facilities (including fridge and microwave), and clean but a little old fashioned in terms of decor, fixtures and fittings. We made the most of the sizeable pool with waterfall on arrival for a relaxing dip, which was a good move as it and the outdoor bar did get a lot busier and noisier later in the day, with lots of people and a DJ playing music. Fortunately our room was away from that, I wouldn't have been too happy had we been situated adjacent to the pool area as we planned a good rest and an early night. As it was, the main disruption came from people wheeling cases along the paths outside, which proved to be quite noisy - wheeled cases and cobbles are not a great combination.
Ultimately, we had a good stay at the Radisson, and in a similar situation I'd probably consider it again, especially if the renovation work going on was complete. The location was great, and staff were friendly and helpful. It's not luxury, and I'm not sure I'd necessarily want a longer stay, but it did the job.

Thank you so much for the amazing feedback! We do apologize for the cobblestone noise. We are replacing all of that through our current renovation as we understand the noise issues they cause. We certainly hope to see you again on your next cruise! Thank you again!

We stayed here two nights prior to our cruise because my son wanted to take a surfing lesson in nearby Cocoa Beach. The room was clean and spacious and the airport/cruise terminal shuttles were well organized. The staff was friendly. But there were some issues.
The pool here is very nice but later in the day they play loud music, so you have to be okay with that.
The dinner we had there was fine. The breakfast and drinks were mediocre but with high end prices. The limited breakfast buffet cost $21 per person and my food was not hot or even warm, basically just below room temperature. The second morning we walked down the road a very short distance to a very good local diner. When I ordered a drink from their cocktail menu at the pool, the bartender didn't know how to make it and was given some instructions by another bartender who came in. But I don't think it was made correctly as he still seemed confused. He put in a lot of ice and then didn't fill the glass all the way so it was a very quick drink. For a $15 drink I expect more.
I couldn't find a safe in my room so I texted the front desk and was told it was in the closet area. I looked again and there was no safe in closet area. When I informed them of this they suggested I use the safe in their luggage room. I said I prefer to have a safe in my room. I like to keep our passports and extra cash in a room safe and didn't feel comfortable leaving passports in the luggage room. They said they were unable to bring me a room safe but no explanation for why not was offered.
It's a pretty good place but it could use some tightening up.

We have stayed at this resort 3 times previously prior to cruising. These previous stays have generally been pretty good. This time though, my wife inadvertently left her $400+ Bose noise cancelling headphones in the room. These headphone were black and over the ear type and not small, easily overlooked earbuds. These headphones are absolutely required by my wife to get a decent nights sleep and we expect that they likely fell between the bed and the wall, where we could not see them.
We contacted the Radisson by email as soon as we were able and asked if they had been turned in by housekeeping. No response. After further prompting, we were advised by email that no such headphones "had been turned in". We followed up again two days later and until now have received no response at all (12 days later).
Ended up buying another pair at our first cruise stop at a considerably higher price ($574).
Hmmm... $400 + headphones and the response is simply "they weren't turned in"?? What a convenient - I don't want to be bothered with this - go away response. "Hey housekeeping, its me Dave at the front desk, anyone turn in an expensive set of Bose headphones? No? Ok that's good enough for me (because surely they would not be a particularly coveted item).
Did Radisson even bother asking housekeeping who actually cleaned the room that day after we left? Did they then investigate any further with the person who cleaned the room? Even just ask? Or did they consider giving the trite response: "none were turned in" to be good enough to make us go away? Just because they were not turned in does not mean that they were not discovered and then pocketed. As a business owner myself, I would want to know if my staff were honest or not. This would be doubly so for housekeeping roles.
Yes we left the headphones there and that is on us to be sure, but the one line response from the Radisson was simply unacceptable. Sorry that was the last stay for us.

Upon check-in we had to request a map of the property to find our room. The bellboy was present at the check-in area but made no offer to help us with our suitcases. This hotel only does housekeeping on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is not listed on their website and it was not mentioned at check-in. After a couple days of no housekeeping we inquired about it and was told as above. When we asked if we could get housekeeping because we were not informed of this policy we were told they could bring towels and toiletries but if we wanted the room to have complete housekeeping "Wanda" would have to talk to the boss. We suggest staying somewhere else when visiting the Port Canaveral area.

We booked this for the day before we went on a cruise. The property is beautiful. Rooms are adequate. Nice and close to the port with a shuttle. The best part of the experience for me was Jabba, paid very close to my luggage and made sure I had baggage tags for the cruise for all my luggage. He was very knowledgable about the process and got me and my family on our way!

From the outside and on the website, the hotel looks really nice. The lobby and poolside are nice. The rooms tell a very different story. They're old and outdated, the carpet has not been cleaned in years, the sink was cracked and leaked, the shower head had a lot of calcium buildup, and the room smelled old and musty. On the property was a coy fish pond/fountain that was very dirty and cloudy. This property serves a lot of people who are going on cruise ships, so they only stay a day or two. That said, the Radisson seems to be short staffed and not very focused on the customer experience. We were here for 2 nights, and our room was not serviced at all. We had to find the cleaning staff and ask for clean towels and room supplies i.e. soap, cups, body wash, etc, and we dumped our own trash cans.
The bottom line is I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend the property to anyone.

We have stayed here twice. Very efficient and friendly staff. Pool is very clean and so much fun! Clean lobby and BEAUTIFUL grounds! They are renovating lots of rooms and I cannot wait to come back to stay in one of those. We cruised out of the port and Raddison has a cheap ($6 one way $12 round trip) shuttle to the port 5 min away. There is a McDonald's, Subway, Burger King, Italian restaurant (a little expensive but it's all scratch made) all withing a 5 min walk.

This hotel is definitely dated and could do with some serious TLC. The air conditioning unit was SO loud in the room but it was too hot to switch it off. The room was generally just a bit shabby, old carpets etc. The beds were comfortable but squeaky springs.
However, it has reasonable rates, the staff I encountered were friendly, it has a good pool and it's excellently situated for cruising out of Port Canaveral. It's around a 10 minute drive to the port and they offer a shuttle service for I think $6 per person. We used the shuttle, it was really well organized.
Don't expect a glamorous stay, but it does what it needs to for the location.

We stayed at Marriott's Resort at the Port the night before our cruise out of Port Canaveral. It is very convenient and the shuttle service from the airport in Orlando ($28 per person) was very nice. The previous reviews are correct however The room was very dated. The pool was fun with the grands but again, very dates and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. The major issue we had was with breakfast. At check-in we were told (as others were by the reactions we saw as we waited) that we could order off the menu as an alternative to the buffet. I have a severe anaphylactic reaction food allergy and buffets are not an option for me. When we arrived at Flamingos the hostess said that there was NO option of ordering. We could get a to go plate but they would prepare it off the buffet. After speaking with what appeared to be the manager we were able to get our plates made from the kitchen but when asked why we were told that we could order off the menu from the front desk at check in she said "well, sometimes we do that. It just depends." The server was extremely rude from start to finish and literally threw our bill down in front of us as we sat at the bar.
I love to write reviews and I am usually very positive. But this experience has been so bad I had to be honest.
