I enjoyed my stay - the owners were welcoming and very accommodating. The suites differ, so choose one with that in mind. The first room I was shown on the 2nd floor (water front building) was a bit shabby, but next 2 were quite pleasant. The suite was well equipped and quite comfortable. Unfortunately, it was not in the waterfront...

This place hasn't been updated in years. It's so run down and frankly it's structurally dangerous. Our room was completely unacceptable! Massive bugs in the room, the free "wifi" is free bc its non-existent, AC wasn't cooling, furniture was literally falling apart and it looked like it was decorated in the 80's or someone stuck in the 80's. It had...

We wanted to get away for the weekend and found this place here on Tripadvisor. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were able to check in before the normal check in time. This resort is only partially open because of the hurricane that hit here last August. They had 11 foot water surge that went through the building...

My husband and I spent a very relaxing and quiet weekend here on Easter weekend. Love sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee watching the birds and boats. We stay here at least four times a year. This is one of the nicer hotels in the city. Cedar Key is one of the last cities left that reflects...

Quaint but dated, fresh & clean but a little noisy (neighbors) thru the walls and ceiling. Overall a very pleasant stay. Small marina area needs dredging but doesn't affect your stay other than aesthetics. Gina was wonderful with handling of our stay and very helpful with area info. Just meeting her made the stay worthwhile. They're rebuilding some units and...

Balcony is right over the Gulf of Mexico,(as not many sandy beaches in this region of FL.) We enjoyed watching many dolphins and seabirds, like being on a cruise ship. Next door is a small white sand beach, park and playground. Our unit was on the 3rd floor. Bedroom is up a tight spiral staircase, bathroom is on main level....

Nice accommodations in Cedar Key. Not quite on the water - one building slightly in front of us. This place is clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Their restaurant wasn't open due to hurricane damage, and they're generally still rebuilding from the Sept 2016 storm. Good value for the money. We had a one bedroom loft...

Like much of the area, Cedar Cove sustained hurricane damage in September 2016, but they are recovering and repairs are still underway. They are well located a short walk to the Dock Street restaurants and the kayak rental/launch and beach area. Kimberly the owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She even suggested we let her know when we were kayaking...

It has been since Sept the hurricane flooded the island; only work done is that for the Timeshare units. Much debris, tangled docks, no laundry facility, no restaurant, no docks at 2nd bldg, elevator out of order, no restaurant, the grounds have not been maintained. I'm sure at some point this place will come back to its full glory.

OK, so its not really a Yacht Club, but thats a good thing. What it is, is a great little place in a fishing, oystering, claming village. The locals are great. The food is great. Bike or walk anywhere. Lots of golf carts available.
