We have been coming to Pirates Cove for a couple of years now and always enjoy our stay. The prices are very affordable and the multi-cottage layout is perfect for multiple families or couples that want some privacy but still be close. The cottages are on the water and we have kayaked from the launch out back, have even caught...

My husband & I needed an escape for the day. So we hopped on our motorcycle for a day trip to cedar Key. The ride was beautiful !! When we arrived at Pirates Cove, it got even better !! We were greeted by Donna as if we were special freinds coming to visit. Our cottage was PERFECT ! "Adorable" was...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cottage 7, and again, two weeks later in Cottage 4. My wife and I would recommend Pirates Cove to anyone who might enjoy a quaint, clean, and well cared for cottage. The next time we visit Cedar Key we absolutely will stay there.

There was nothing fancy about this place, but it was very comfortable, relaxing, and inexpensive. That was just what we were looking for. The location is walking distance to the main restaurant, bar and shopping area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in number 7, which was one big room for bedroom, sitting area, and full kitchen....

There's a lot to like about this place! The owner, Donna, greeted us and was very friendly and takes pride in her place. It's family owned and operated and quant. Nothing fancy as far as the accommodations but clean and well-kept. Lots of space outside to relax. You can fish off the dock at high tide and ride your bike...

In our past, a-hem, middle-aged years, we like it when people fuss over us. At Pirates Cove Cottages, Donna and her son Justin, do exactly that. Clean, comfortable cottages for a below-expected price in a wonderful resort area. Located about a half a mile from downtown and 3/4 of a mile from Dock Street, one can enjoy peace and serenity...

Needed to get away for a few days with dog. Decided Cedar Key would be perfect. Didn't need much space and booking at the last minute only cottage 7 available for 3 nights. Cottage was nicely kept, squeaky clean and right near fishing dock. Screened in porch was very relaxing. Simple living at its best.

So gracious to our dog and us! Right on Back Bayou, old trees, well tended, spotless, Great price and location. Donna couldn't have been better. Our cottage was recently updated as there was hurricane damage, and they are now working on the others. The property is very old Florida and full of character.

We stayed here for a nice relaxing weekend. The cottage itself is small with a queen bed, kitchen and shower, but with the addition of the screened in porch you have plenty of room. All looks freshly painted and well maintained. Do not expect high-end features, as this is a very basic, but useful cottage. The bed is on the...

We stayed for 2 nights in early October and the cottage was very comfortable. Nearby there is a lake with a beautiful view and a place where one can buy fresh clams to prepare at home :) The furniture in the cottage is a bit old and the aircon was super loud, but I guess for the price one cannot...
