Perfect retreat on Cedar Key! Nice hosts, quiet and clean. The cottages are fully equipped, spacious and with a garden and deck chairs. Located directly on the island just a couple minutes from the harbour with its nice bars and restaurants with the best clam chowder and crab cakes.

Have been going to Cedar Key yearly and have stayed at Pirates Cove many times. Took my mother for her 93rd birthday to cottage 4. Charming cottage on the back bayou with a private screen porch. Pirates Cove is a family owned and run place and the family couldn't be better hosts. Donna placed birthday balloons in the cottage as...

We needed a getaway and decided to travel to Florida during spring break. We chose Cedar Key because we didn't want to be anywhere near crazy Panama City but didn't want to drive too far south. Donna was so friendly and accommodating when I called to book a cottage and we were really happy to learn we could bring our...

Cottages like these are vanishing from the American landscape at a fast pace so step back a few decades while you can and stay in one of these delightful cottages from yesterday. My wife and I spent 3 peacefully quite nights here in one of the cleanest accommodations we have ever stayed in. Justin is most personable and goes out...

My husband, son and I stayed here. We reserved cottage 1. We loved it there. If you are looking for a 4 star hotel, this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking for a clean, roomy cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and your own personal small patio with a table and 4 chairs this place...

My family and I stayed in the large cottage. It had two bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other with a queen. There was one bathroom off the main bedroom. We also had a living and eating area that was large, and a full kitchen, for an unbelievable price!! The cottage was VERY clean, and the beds were so...

My husband and I stayed a month, and it wasn't long enough. We stayed in cottage #6. The view was amazing. I loved watching the birds at low tide, and viewing the reflection of the sun on the water. We had so many plans, but it was difficult for us to pull away from this fabulous view, and comfortable setting....

We did our research online for a place to stay in Cedar Key, and Pirates Cove fit the bill, both online and in person. We arrived late afternoon in early January., and were warmly greeted by Justin who showed us our cottage, #4. It was everything we expected and more. The place was immaculately clean, had everything we needed (dishes,...
