This Fairfield Inn is a great location for being close to shopping and beaches. The decor is very modern and clean with friendly staff. The breakfast area is maintained by a wonderfully friendly lady named Nadia, she is extremely helpful and keeps the breakfast area spotless with her constant cleaning and helping anyone in anyway she can. Marriott is fortunate to have her on their staff.

As with last time, the room was clean and in good condition; the bed and bedding was all very comfy, I was able to comfortably work in the room while my family enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the morning (the afternoon was a bit too hot to stay out in). The location of this Fairfield Inn and Suites is ideal for access to the airport (15min), downtown Tampa (25-30min) or the beach at Clearwater Beach (25min) - it works perfectly for our visits to the area to visit friends and enjoy the Gulf Coast.
In particular, Nadia, who provides a lovely breakfast, was great - she remembered us from our last stay and was a wonderful hostess, making us feel very welcome and comfortable!

My wife and I were celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary. The hotel was very clean and our room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. The outside pool area was excellent with a good sized pool, a hot tub and an ample supply of clean towels. The highlight for us was breakfast time. The food was excellent with a good variety of breakfast items. The breakfast service was very ably managed by ‘Nadia’. She made all the fresh waffles for everyone that wanted them and made sure that the breakfast items all looked their best. She even brought coffee to us when time allowed. We have never experienced a ‘Nadia’ at any other Marriot hotel that we have stayed at. She really made a difference.

We stayed for one night here after attending a nearby concert. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very quiet and we both got a good night's sleep despite the hotel being full of a girls' softball team.
This is an older hotel but seemed to be pretty well maintained. The bathtub did have some rust stains around the faucet and we could tell that the closet doors has been repainted but overall the room was in good shape.
What made my husband very happy was that the hotel staff was able to override the motion-centered thermostat so that we could keep the constant fan on for white noise.

1. The hotel was alright. When i booked my stay, i wasn’t sure how long I’d be there for. So i asked the front desk if I could extend my stay if i needed to. The woman at the desk said that shouldn’t be a problem at all. However, two days later I asked to extend my trip by one day and i was told my room was already booked and EVERY other room in the hotel. The woman that talked to me this time, who told me this extremely rude before i even asked my question. How can you be at 100% occupancy two days after i book and not even give me a heads up when i ALREADY ASKED? I would have just booked for three days had they told me this at the beginning.
2. The first day, the hot breakfast had omelette. Sausage patties and bacon. The second day. No bacon. Wtf?
Bed was 3.5 out of 5. Kind of in between soft and hard but more on the hard side.
My rating is mainly due to my experience with the staff. Other wise, the hotel is alright and not gross.

I stayed for a long weekend to spend time with family and friends. This hotel is very clean, quiet, and in the perfect location from both Tampa International Airport and St. Pete/Clearwater airport. I was able to drive in any direction to get to Tampa, St. Pete, or Largo/Clearwater very easily. The room was ready upon my arrival and the front desk associate greeted me and checked me in with ease (I don’t remember her name). The staff were all very friendly, smiled, and greeted me with a “hi” every time I walked in (especially John, Carolina, and Yvette!). The breakfast was always ready and delicious - Nadia made sure I was taken care of, including offering me water and taking my recyclables for me. I will stay at the Fairfield again when I return to the area for another visit!! A++

Hotel was as expected for the brand. Although the room was comfortable, I hadn’t anticipated that its location would be so noisy; to the point where a good nights sleep wasn’t possible without earplugs (a nice touch that I randomly found some in the nightstand drawer).
The location is convenient for shops, food outlets, beaches, Tampa and its airport; all within a short drive.
Breakfast had sufficient options but there was no variety in hot items offered on each of the 3 days I was there.
Pool was nice and seemed to be well used by guests.

This was a very good hotel for the money. It had a very good breakfast, with eggs and sausage and fresh fruit and oatmeal/toppings and coffee with real milk and cream and tea, as well as various other offerings (like waffles, bagels, muffins and cereal. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room was equipped with everything you need for a few nights. The exercise room was clean and well equipped. A nice touch was the citrus infused water available in the lobby. The shower water pressure wasn't great, but that is a relatively minor complaint. All in all, a very pleasant stay. When we're in the area, this will be out go-to accommodations.

We love coming to this Fairfield Inn because the location is easy access to Clearwater beach and St Petersburg area. The hotel and rooms are very well kept and also pet friendly. The morning breakfast is free and Nadia is a wonderful host. She makes every effort to make guest feel at home and is very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

We have been to most Marriott branded hotels around Clearwater right by the beach, and wanted to try the more budget friendly option a little farther away and we are very happy about it. This gives us more latitude to explore around Clearwater but also St Pete, Palm Harbor/Dunedin. The rooms are all comfy and clean as it's a recently renovated hotel. Staff is very kind and professional. Above all, Nadia in charge of our continental breakfast made our stay feel so welcome like a family member hosting you for a meal. Nadia is a gem, I've never in my years staying w Marriott experienced such welcoming staff personnel as her! Even tho it's not a 5-star hotel, thanks to Nadia we received a 5-star hotel experience! The pool and hot tub at night were so nice to use too, clean, no bugs... the cherry on top!

It’s a small hair dryer in a bag so not attached to the wall. Not sure if a diffuser would attach to it.
You would need to check with the hotel to see if they have a room available to check in early. I believe that you can find out when a room is ready for you on the app. They would likely be willing to hold on to your luggage on the day your checking out, but I doubt they would provide a checkout later than an hour or two past the regular checkout time. You may want to download their app as well.
Depends on the traffic over the causeway. I would say a least 20 minutes to get to the “beach” if it’s good traffic.
