Very clean, very comfortable, very convenient location. We loved having a suite. The closet is organized beautifully with drawers and a mirror and space for hanging clothes. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. And the morning breakfast had lots of options. We will be staying here again!

The beginning of our trip was terrible until we got to the hotel. I teared up with joy because of how truly amazing the hotel staff are. To start off, our plane was delayed 2 hours and I cried. The rental car was a forced electric and I cried. And then we got to the hotel at midnight and the check in was perfectly smooth and sweet. The gentleman who check us in (we don’t remember his name) was quick and efficient and let us know the breakfast times. The next day, we asked Craig, a different employee about best options for electric charging. He informed us that they offered included charge spots and showed us where it was. He did warn us that people park there that are not electric and in the process of getting better signage. Sunday (today) we asked if Kayla (the lady at the front desk) could reserve a spot for us to charge due to it being a rental and we needed it charged to bring back. When we came back from our day out, they put out cones for us and saved us a spot. They are considerate, welcoming, and amazing people. Every employee we had an interaction with, made us feel special and taken care of. Plus the room was spotless and comfortable. This is THE HOTEL to be at when visiting Clearwater or even to take a mini vacay away from your home!! I will definitely be rebooking next time we visit the area and recommend this place to any one who mentions Florida! The hotel staff are the ones who made the trip exceptionally better from the second we made it to the hotel! Plus breakfast was delicious and cool (you could make your own waffle!) and the employees all deserve a raise (if not possible at least a bonus!)

Don’t sleep on this new hotel that is convenient to Clearwater Beach and surrounding areas. The hotel is super clean, and the rooms are spacious. The convenience of having a kitchenette with full size refrigerator and a dishwasher are great for people staying short and long term. The closet space is wonderful and there is even space under the beds to store your luggage.
Breakfast was decent with options for those who are gluten free as well.
Housekeeping came daily and you can tell this hotel puts a great deal of effort into maintaining cleanliness.

I love this Towne Place Suites with great service and great amenities. The free EV charger is a bonus. the place offers off street free parking and two modern art bike racks.Absolutely great housekeeping! This is the Towne Place Suites incredible breakfast where you can make your own waffle, enjoy hot eggs, proteins, breads, several juices from a machine. The coffee, decaf, and selection of hot teas goes on 24/7. The breakfast worker is helpful and cheerful. you can enjoy a few sofa and table spaces to chat with friends. The outdoor pool is close to the highway US-19 but blocked from view and amazingly quiet. Enjoy the 24 hour gym. There are a variety of offerings for discounts on local amusement park and tourist ventures. My spacious room with 2 queen beds had even room to dance. the kitchenette is off to the side, almost a separate area with Refrigerator, induction stove, dishwasher and all necessary items to cook, eat. and clean up. Alice Co products on the wall of shower are a bonus. Adequate closet storage and space, with iron, ironing board, and upscale closet shelving. The outdoor area offers 2 Weber grills, a fire pit, and several comfy sofas. The hotel provides seasonings, cook book, and all grill necessities (except the food). Hailey and Viola were very pleasant and helpful.

We booked a 5 day stay at this hotel because it looked liked it would be a comfortable place to be when we were not watching baseball games (the American Conference tournament, to be exact) or being tourists. We were right…. It is within walking distance of Bay are Ballpark, and very close to grocery stores and Costco (hello gasoline refill!). It is also an easy drive to Tarpon Springs, where we spent a entire day being tourists.
Our room, a one-bedroom suite, was very comfortable,with blackout shades and a fully equipped kitchen that included a full refrigerator with a powerful freezer (think of frozen bottles of water, which are allowed in the ballpark). I don’t know if all the rooms are like this, but it surely was nice to come back to.
The folks staffing TownePlace Suites in Clearwater, Florida, are top notch, as well, from the ladies preparing breakfast, to the housekeepers and others, these folks are friendly and helpful.
We want to give a special shout-out to the very first person we met when we rolled in… Latonya at the front desk. She was so friendly and helpful, trying to make sure our needs were met, offering to hold our bags when we arrived too early to check in, and finding a person to advise us (Istvar, I believe) on a Tarpon Springs visit later in the week.

We were in Clearwater for the Phillies Spring Training games. We booked this hotel because we are Marriott members and the BayCare ballpark is within a 15-minute walk. I cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff was during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The room has a small kitchenette with everything you need to fix a quick meal if you need to. The only thing was that there is no table to sit at in the room we were in. The only other issues with our room was there is no in room safe or make up mirror. There is a free breakfast which was decent however it ends at 9:00 during the week and 10 on the weekend. However, it is just about next door to the famous Lenny’s restaurant known for their breakfast. The hotel is in a good location right next to Rt 19 and block from Rt 60. We were able to drive to the beach in under 30 minutes. We definitely will stay here again on our next trip down for Spring Training just because of the staff.

I had several issues with my stay. The tub was so slippery that it was hazard. I was promised a tub mat by Latonya and I never received it so I had to go and buy one myself. The beds were rock hard to the point I needed to switch rooms to find a more comfortable bed. Rose was really nice to assist me with that. There were no pool towels at one point we had to ask for some. Also there was a lot of bugs in the pool so better management is needed. The hallways and surrounding areas smell like sewer. One day I came out my room and instantly smelled sewer. Just so happen the manager was walking behind me too and we both got on the elevator. I asked her don't you smell sewer and she said no. I'm like yeah right. Lucky the smell wasn't in my room. The hotel is off an highway so you'll have noise. My first room #320, I couldn't hear the outside traffic but my second room #614, I could hear lots of noise. That was minor compared to my other issues. Breakfast was okay but needed more hot options. The rooms were spacious and clean. After all that, I was promised points by Latonya for my inconveniences but I never received them.

I apologize that the slip resistant mat was not delivered to your room in a timely manner. We typically do not keep these on property as almost all of our guests never find the tub to be slippery. In the rare event that a guest feels that the tub is slippery, we are more than happy to run out and purchase one to ensure our guests feel comfortable at our property. I apologize that this did not happen quickly, which resulted in you purchasing your own. I am happy that Rose was able to assist you in moving to several rooms until one fit your needs. We have actually never had anyone say that our hallways or any area of our property smells like a sewer since we opened. We will be sure to pay close attention to this and address immediately if it ever comes up. You’ve got a young girl who charged more than she was authorized on my card. She didn’t like that I wouldn’t swipe at check in because I had already checked in, already had my room assigned, already had my mobile key. I just stopped to get an extra key. I tried to let her simply verify my card number that I checked in on the app was in my possession and the same one, but she said “You know what? Just go. I don’t even really care.”
So the day after I checked out, a phantom $140 charge showed up from TownePlace Suites of Clearwater. I called to see what it was, because I used pure points on the stay and you pay tax at booking and because I’ve never seen such a ridiculous charge.
Your front desk said “sometimes, the rate for the room is charged” You guys are usually around $200/night so there goes that theory. I explained how I do this day in and day out with Marriott since 2010, +8 years over Platinum, 4 years Titanium, and have never seen that ever. I asked what the normal hold on the card is, he said it was $20/night. Max it would have been is $40. Started to look like retaliation from your young girl at the desk. None of the numbers matched to $140 just randomly showing up on my account as a charge.
So I reported the incident to Marriott Corporate for wild unauthorized charges on my card from TownePlace Suites of Clearwater.
P.S. I live here and get better service in Kansas.

It sounds like there may have been a miscommunication during your check in process. Our front desk agent did ask you for a card so that she could put that down on your incidental folio, so you would have the normal incidental hold only. As you stated above, you did not want to swipe your card on that folio which is how your carded remained on your main folio that caused the holds our front desk agent was trying to prevent. I can assure you that our front desk team has actually been at our property since the day that we opened last year and are well equipped to handle all interactions at the desk. We have never received any negative feedback about any encounters and I sincerely apologize this was your experience. I can assure you that this was not anyone on my teams' intention. We stayed here during my sisters celebration of life and from the moment we checked in we were greeted with professionalism. We had been emailing with management about our reason for our stay and they had prepared a card for us. I have never stayed at a Marriott where their level of guest service was this personal. My best friend was also staying with us and her check in was just as easy as ours. We had an issue with our lights in our room and Miranda was there immediately to assist us with our issue. She could not get the light to switch on so she grabbed us another light bulb and made sure it was operating before she left. Miranda also made sure we had extra linen and towels before she left as we had 8 people staying in the room with us. She assisted us with the pull out sofa as well! The day of the celebration of life she came up to our room with an orchid and we are not ones to believe in signs but it had been raining in the morning and then she delivers one of my sisters favorite flowers' I had to believe this was a sign. Miranda made sure we were taken care of everyday we stayed and was there every morning with a smile on her face. She made time to talk to us and to offer her condolences. This is the place to stay, very personal and hospitably is great here. Thank you so much Miranda and Towne Place suites.
