Barefoot Bay Resort and marina is a small family owned and operated motel conveniently located in the center of Clearwater beach making everything just a short walk away. Pier 60 and the beach are 3 minutes away, municipal marina a 2 minute walk. shops and restaurants to cater to every need are 3 minutes away.We are situated on the intra coastal side of the island with great open views, dolphins can be seen from our marina deck.We pride ourselves on providing clean comfortable accommodation in a quiet relaxing environment. If you want some excitement hire a Jet Ski from our marina and explore the Island. We provide daily maid service, free WiFi and have a guest laundry room open each day.Our larger than average pool is great to cool down in on hot summer days and heated for your comfort during the cooler winter months. Front staff was great. The other guest were polite and courteous. The resort was in a great shape and clean. It was centered in a great location that was close to restaurants and entertainment. My only downside was I had bought food for us to eat so we could sit on the deck at night and have dinner only to find out a grill had ran out of propane. I made a phone call, but there was no one available to change the tank. We only stayed one night as per the reservation so we had to go to the local restaurant across the street and ate for the night. The propane was changed first thing the next morning and I was able to cook my wife breakfast before I checked out which was at 11 AM. We will definitely come back.

Great location, comfortable rooms. Was within walking distance to several great restaurants and provided beautiful sunrise and sunset views. I was worried it would be noisy, but it was not and the area was crowded so pretty good sound control. Very homey and gives an Old Florida Beach feel which we love, being native Floridians!

We stayed in Clearwater for 5 nights at a different hotel and wanted to extend our stay one more night. We just didn't want to leave! Well our room was already booked so we had to look elsewhere and came across this cute place! It has it's own parking lot, it's situated right across from the beach and next to the strip of restaurants and shops. The pool is awesome and deep with a big deck, plenty of room to layout on comfy lounge chairs or sit at a table in some shade. We arrived early since we had to check out of the other place at 11am. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and allowed us to go ahead and park in the lot and enjoy the pool if we wished until the room was ready. He even gave us a courtesy call as soon as it was ready. The room was clean and smelled lemony fresh! We had wifi & spectrum tv to enjoy. The bed and couch were both comfy. The room was decorated nicely. The kitchenette area had a sink, coffee maker, fridge and stocked with dishes. Everything we needed. They have a policy that only allows those 25 yrs of age or older to rent a room so we didn't have to worry about the partying crowd being loud and obnoxious. It was a peaceful stay. Honestly we wish we had stayed here the whole week.

If you are looking for a very nice small privately own motel to spend a very relaxing time then this is the place to go. This is not your typical 100 room fancy over priced resort but instead a really comfortable, clean and well maintained motel. They have a large pool with a really big deck with lots of seating. They also have a deck out back that overlooks the marina. Great for in the evenings. The rooms are very clean and well stocked with everything you need from kitchen ware, plates, silver ware and glasses. Nice sink and coffee maker. Bathroom is small but has all the essentials. Very clean. The staff was super nice, Cesaer checked us in and answered all my questions. This motel is located just a few minutes walk from the beach and Pier 60 and also lots of restaurants to go to. Parking is right in front of the rooms so you don't have far to go with your luggage, also you don't have to pay to park which is a plus. This is a very reasonably priced alternative to the expensive places nearby so if you want a nice place to stay without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. We will definitely stay there again when we go back.

I booked this hotel based upon previous favorable trip advisor reviews and they were right! We arrived hours ahead of our scheduled check in time and the owners were very welcoming. They allowed us to leave our car at the resort so we could enjoy some beach time while they prepared our room for early check in. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Maid service was very prompt and we received fresh towels and anything else we needed each morning. We stayed in room #1 which was a double queen room with a kitchenette and couch located upstairs overlooking the docks and water. Sunrise from our beds each morning was beautiful!! We spent our days at the beach and afternoons relaxing at the pool and chatting with other guests. There are many areas set up with chairs for guests to hang out, so there was always somewhere to sit outside and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. The location was perfect, with the beach being about a 5 minute walk, as well as many shops and restaurants. The 24 hour Walgreens next door was very convenient as well. I would definitely book this room and stay at this resort again. I highly recommend!! Thank you to the owners for making our stay so enjoyable!

This is an older motel that has been kept in good condition. It has a bright fresh yellow and blue paint job on the outside. It has a nice outdoor pool and deck area with new furniture. The bay side of the building also has a deck over the water. Pool towels are provided. Laundry facilities are available at $1.50 for wash and $1.00 for drying. The rooms are clean but some are quite small. They provide plates, bowls, cups and glasses plus a coffee pot and toaster. The main drawback is the location parallel to the bridge from the mainland. Traffic is constant. You also might want to avoid rooms 14, 15, and 16 as they are right along the side road and it can be noisy at night. (We were in 15). This location is excellent for the marina and many eating areas. It is also an easy walk to the beach. I guess you just have to weigh the pros and cons. The office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely return but request a different room. I almost forgot about the hot water. You need to let the shower run for about 4 minutes before it gets hot but then it is plenty hot. I just hate wasting so much water.

This is a really nice motel with a nice pool on the Marina side of Clearwater Beach just a two minute walk to Pier 60 park, four minutes to the beach, and 5 to 10 minutes to dozens of restaurants, shops, and night spots. There’s even a 24 hour. Walgreens just steps away.
No frills, but the hotel is bright, colorful, and clean, and brings back nostalgia from my childhood, staying in charming little motels and hotels around the country. Considering the prices in Clearwater Beach, this place is an amazing value! The owners are really nice, and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Overall a nice place. Good location to town and overall it was clean. It is a bit dated, the biggest problem we had is the room is very musty, the couch was damp, the bed was damp, the floor was damp and dirty. After just two days walking around in the room our socks were black. I know they vacuum the room but the carpet has not been clean for awhile. They really need to open the rooms up and get some fresh air in there. I would consider staying there again.

This wasn't our first visit to the Barefoot Bay and it certainly won't be our last. Starting with the location ... It's literally across the road from the beach and lot's of bars and restaurants, and is right next door to Walgreens for all those last minute essentials. The propery itself was excellent for what we wanted. The room we had, had a queen sized bed and a sofa bed, a kitchenette and bathroom (obviously) and was very bright and cheery. The pool, although not huge is perfect and right outside the rooms, pool towels are provided and the car parking is free. It was a really chilled couple of days. As for the owner, Stacey (A Yorkshire lass), she is a force of nature, friendly and helpful, and a whole lot of fun. We can't wait for our next visit.

The facility was fantastic. Very clean, close to many restaurants and shopping . There was beach access within walking distance (bring a wagon if you plan to bring a bunch of items to carry to the beach). Most of all Stacey, the owner, was amazing! Extremely pleasant, delightful and accommodating!!!!!!! We will definitely be back and will recommend this to friends and family!

Sorry we don’t have coolers but Walgreens is straight across the road and I believe they sell them. We sometimes have beach chairs what other guests have left by the pool area but cannot guarantee this. We do provide pool towels.
There are more places to choose from in the Clearwater area.
