I hesitate to write this review as I don’t want others to find this hidden gem. We have stayed several times and would never stay anywhere else. Location is amazing right on the beach and next to a great beach bar with music every day. Your car is parked right as you go out so you can pick up your chairs, umbrellas, etc. The staff is very friendly and the place is immaculate. The pool is hidden in the back in a quiet area. Please don’t discover this place and leave it for those who return regularly.

Nice small hotel right on the beach and it has all the modern amenities needed. It was the end of July with temps in the upper 90's, Gulf water temp approaching 100 degrees, but the room was always cool and clean, and the pool is a great option to the beach if you need a change of pace. Stayed in the one bedroom apt which had a King Bed in a separate room and the kids slept on the pull out couch. No food offered at the hotel itself, but 12 steps away they have the Palm Pavilion Bar & Grill which was excellent as well.
A good value for the location and what you get at surrounding hotels. It's on the northern end of the main Clearwater district, but a short 15 minute walk to the main marina. Less crowded on the beach but still close to everything!
My only negative is the beach umbrella and chair rental that is not included in the room rate. At $25 for the day it's not a deal breaker, but I would have thought one complimentary beach umbrella per room would have been a nice perk of staying at the Inn.

We loved our stay at the Palm Pavilion so much we rebooked for the same time next year. And they give returnees a fantastic 20 percent discount. All the employees and staff were just fantastic. I mean, all of them. And they have a roof where you can see the sunset, which is amazing to look at. The Palm is kept very clean which is not easy since you are tracking sand. The restaurant close by which is associated with the Palm is great and it is just such a laid back atmosphere vibe that is just perfect. They have musicians performing all the time. The beach is huge and you can rent chairs and umbrellas. The ocean is calm and you do not have to worry about some wave coming and knocking you down. The Palm has a nice pool as well. And the hotel provides you with towels for the ocean and pool. I see that also have beach toys if you have young kids. I could rave on and on about the Palm Pavilion Inn, so take it from me you will love your stay

I am a senior citizen and I travel to the area every few months to see my brother. When I am in the area, the last couple years I have been staying at the Palm Pavilion Inn. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are consistently clean and well prepared. The area outside the hotel is well lit. Exterior doors are locked at 9:00 PM after which your key card is required. I always feel welcomed and safe when staying here. and never have had a bad experience at this hotel. This last trip I enjoyed seeing another hotel guest that returns annually for their vacation. If you struggle with stairs, check for room availability on the first floor. If you can navigate stairs, they have hand rails and are easy to climb. The coffee in the lobby is fresh every morning and there are a few tables outside in the front for those who enjoy a cigar when relaxing. The Palm Pavilion Restaurant next door has great food. Last, there simply is no other location on the beach that is more convenient and beautiful than this. This hotel and the staff are special. It is a wonderful place to stay.

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel for three nights in October and the Palm Pavilion fit the bill. This is definitely an older property and beware there is no elevator. Our room was located on the third floor and the staff was nice enough to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs for us. There is no resort fee at this hotel which was a bonus! Beach chairs and umbrellas are an additional fee which you pay for on the beach.
We had a standard king room that had a great view of the beach but it did over look the restaurant. We were concerned it would be loud at night but surprisingly it was pretty quiet. The bathroom was dated and extremely small. Definitely time for a remodel! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable but the carpet needs to be replaced.
There is a small pool in the back with uncomfortable loungers which was always empty. There is an amazing rooftop with gorgeous views that is perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. We only had lunch at the restaurant and wasn’t impressed. There are so many other outstanding restaurants within walking distance.
If you don’t mind an older hotel or need a fancy resort with amenities and you want to be next to the beach, then the Palm Pavilion may be what your looking for.

If you stay here once you will know why the Palm Pavilion has been in business since 1926, they just do all the little things right, starting with a great staff. Everyone we interacted with was top notch, from the front desk to the room service and the personable parking attendants. This 3rd visit had us in Room 300 again, a nice little efficiency with good views of the beach and that rooftop terrace with 360 degree views is incredible. They also have a great little pool area hidden away in the back that we always make sure to visit at least once every vacation. We love the comfortable atmosphere of the whole property while going about our week vacation. Their restaurant, 50 yards away on the sand is another plus visiting 5 times during our stay. Finally, their reasonable $25 a day charge for an umbrella and 2 chairs is another reason we keep coming back since we take 4-5 beach vacations a year and have encountered $40, $50 and even $75 a day charges and at those rates we just bring our own chairs and umbrellas. That can save a lot of money when you're on the beach 5 to 7 days. Also, Angelo, running the beach service was very personable and we enjoyed our conversations with him during the week. We look forward to coming back next year.

I stayed here for 5 nights with my adult daughter during the 2nd week in April. The hotel is located at the northern end of the beach which is a bit quieter than S. Gulfview Blvd area where many of the chain hotels are. Everything is still within walking distance. It’s an older hotel, no elevators but has been kept up immaculately. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was very attentive to our needs. The rooms/hotel have a retro feel. There is a small pool in the back. We didn’t use it but it looked nice. There is also free parking next to the hotel. There was coffee and prepackaged muffins, breakfast snacks free of charge in the lobby each morning, extra chairs and beach toys near the ice machine. The shining star of it all was the staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. They were helpful with any questions about area attractions and restaurants. It was always service with a smile. Although inot technically “oceanfront” it’s literally 30 steps to the beach. The hotel runs the cabana service at the beach and we just charged it to our room. 2 great restaurants within steps The Palm Pavilion Beachside Grill (great for an afternoon drink on the way back from the beach) and Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill just across the parking lot. Ate at both and were delicious. I can’t wait to come back to Clearwater Beach and when I do I will definitely stay at the Palm Pavilion.

Four thing make this a wonderful place to stay. 1) Location, walking from the front door of the hotel you are about 12 strides to the entrance to the beach! 2) Convenience, from the front door you are about 9 strides to the entrance of the Palm Pavilion Beach-side Bar & Grill (fantastic grouper, incredible shrimp & crab chowder, perfect frozen Pina Coladas. 3) Front desk staff - always welcoming, friendly, helpful. 4) Value, nice, clean rooms at a great rate for Clearwater Beach, FL. If you are 35+ age, traveling alone or with your spouse, or traveling with another adult couple, this is a great place to stay. I am a three year plus - twice a year returning customer and hope to be a guest again in six months!

We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary in February 2023 at the Palm Pavilion Inn on Clearwater Beach. It is wonderful location with clean rooms and friendly, professional employees. The pool is heated to 85 degrees, so we were able to swim and enjoy the pool in February! They have complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the mornings. They also provide pool/beach towels to use. There is not a microwave in the king room, but they have one in the lobby to use. There's not an elevator, but anyone with mobility limitations could request a first floor room. We stayed on the third floor (the top floor for rooms). There is a 4th floor outdoor deck that offers views of the beach and surrounding area and has plenty of tables and chairs for guests. It's a beautiful place to relax and watch the sunset. The only thing between us and the beach was their awesome restaurant right next door to the inn. The restaurant had so many delicious menu options that we ate there more than once during our stay. There are plenty of other places within walking distance, too. We really felt welcome and at home at the inn (nothing fancy, just a super place to settle in and relax). We really enjoyed our visit and have already made reservations to visit again in 2024.
