The biggest disappointment was that I booked a 2 bedroom suite with a living area, fridge & microwave WHAT I got was 2 standard adjoining rooms with no living area, sofa (small settee) or table for eating. The website only showed one picture so I assume that’s why. I asked at the front desk & this is what they consider a 2 BR suite. The tub in the one room desperately needs replaced. The upside was the staff is great. We had excellent daily room service without asking. The location is good, 15 min to airport, 5 min to Bay Care ballpark, & 20 min to the beach. Overall I recommend!

Having read numerous marginal reviews on several Clearwater hotels in my price range, I selected this Holiday Inn Express and Suites and couldn't have been more pleased with my selection. Starting out with check-in, day time manager Brianna welcomed me with a smile and cheerfully explained the amenities provided with my reservation. She also helped with my request regarding how the tollways operate and that cash payments can't be made for toll payment. The room was very clean contrary to many reviews I read. The breakfast the next morning was unbelievably excellent. Hot eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, pastries, fruits, cereals, yogurt and more. The attendant kept all items refreshed in a timely matter. While I was there, she used a sanitizing spray/cloth 3 times to clean the table tops. I stayed here on the first and last nights of my 7 day visit. Thank you IHG for a wonderful stay at your facility.

Went to Daytona Beach to visit a relative. However, the water there was very high and rough, because of offshore storm activity. So upon leaving I headed to the other side of the state. Using various apps I chose the Holiday Inn Express Clearwater/US 19N for my overnight stay. I'd seen it many times before, when I visited the beach.
Location- This is at the intersection of Highway 60 and US 19N, just across the bay from Tampa. Distance from the Tampa airport is just about 13 minutes over the causeway.
Distance from Clearwater Beach Pier 60, is only about 10 to 12 minutes in light traffic.
Places to Eat-The restaurant provides a hot free breakfast in the morning. There are other restaurants in the area such as Perkins, Hooters, Culvers, Village Inn, and more.
Parking lot-Is not really super big. There were only a few spaces left when I arrived at about midnight. Most of the spaces were behind the building, too far from the entrance to be visible. So I squeezed in a tight spot on the side of the building.
The room I got was huge with the bed in one section, and the other furnishings in another. It was clean. However, I've noticed with it and a few other HIE locations, that they could definitely use an update.
The bed was more than sufficient and I had no problems sleeping. The rate was very reasonable, just over $100+ and I felt I got my money's worth.
The main thing I would say is that it is time to renovate the rooms, but other than that, they served the purpose.
It is absolutely a great place to stay, so that you can get to the beach before the crowds arrived.

This hotel was better than we anticipated. The room was large, clean, and had a good sized mini fridge. The room also had a safe and coffee maker, which was useful to have.
The hotel had a great free breakfast with good seating selection and lots of options. The staff were courteous and did a good job replenshing the breakfast foods and beverages.
The pool was good; but, it was a very cool temperature. We asked if the pool had a heater; but, the front desk was uncertain about why it was not heating.
The gym was good; but, it was small and did not have a lot of machines.

Nigel, James and Jay at the front desk are so very professional and customer service oriented, as well as just all around friendly with enthusiasm to help and smiles all around to greet you.
Brian and James keep the Property in such great working order, as well as are quick to help in any way they can.
Lulu in housekeeping does an exceptional job of quickly responding to any needs... as well as keeps the rooms spotless and clean.
Franny who services the morning breakfast, is so very attentive to the buffet, the customers and the dining area. She makes sure everybody has everything they need, the buffet is always well stocked and the dining area so very clean.
Such a wonderful team. We travel all around, sometimes up to a couple months of hotel room stays a year. It's so refreshing; it's so rare to see such a fantastic team in this day and age. You just don't see service like this enough.

I have been to many hotels since we lost our home in Hurricane Helene in September 2024 and this hotel has been the cleanest and the staff is incredible. The staff goes all out and beyond to make sure their guest are comfortable, happy, enjoying their stay, and make sure to take care of each and every guest needs. They also have a free hot, fresh breakfast buffet every morning. The cook name is Luis. He has been great since day 1. He is friendly and always checking on the guest to make sure they like the food and ask if there is anything he can do for us. He takes a lot of pride in his job. I have not had any cook at any of the many hotels I've stayed at check on my family or even say good morning. He is great and always has a smile. There is also David at the front desk and another young male with colored hair (sorry, can't think of his name) that works the evening shift who has been great, friendly, and super helpful. They also are always smiling no matter what the situation may be. I can't forget Nancy's the manager who also has been wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the employees, especially the ones that really stood out to me. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get away for 1 night, 1 day, or 1 month. You won't have any regrets and will enjoy the hotel and the great friendly staff just as my family and I have.

I stayed at Holiday Inn , Gulf to Bay, Clearwater Florida during both evacuations from Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. The front desk staff was terrific! Check-in was easy. They made sure my stay was comfortable. Everyday I looked forward to breakfast. The breakfast staff served hot breakfast on time and the food was yummy. The room attendants were very attentive and courteous. My room was very clean and fresh. Thank you Francisca and Rosa !

No clue who or how the hotel info location was changed.
No, on the gulf most of the beaches are not in this area. To stay on the beach you would need to stay in St Petersburg or Clearwater beach, This hotel has a large pool and spa. Everyone drives to which ever beach they like the most.
No, They have a list of car companies. I did fly out of and into PIE, used a limo service both ways.
