Let's start with the positives: The hotel is in a prominent location and has parking (generally included in the price). The room that touched us was as expected, for some demanding could have some details but for me it was fine The rest of the hotel is ugly, the elevator dirty or wet. But the fruit of dessert is "breakfast" I think they should cancel it or reformulate it because it generates a lot of discomfort in passengers. The service was always very friendly and they lent us chairs for the beach.

We stayed here for a couple of nights near the end of February. The location is great, just across the street from the beach, and within walking distance of all kinds of restaurants, shops and attractions. It's too bad that it is not as well maintained as it could or should be. It just seems tired. The pool looked nice, on the second floor patio with a bar and fire pits. There is a continental breakfast included with the room, and the restaurant next door offers full breakfast for half price for hotel guests. The beds were a bit soft. We were on the back side of the hotel se we did not have a balcony, and there was construction going on across the street so there was some extra noise during the day. There was also a bar across the street which had a very loud band one night until about midnight, but not the other night. Of course, that is not the hotel's problem. We really enjoyed the beach and its accompanying attractions, and the price was right considering its location, but with some work it could be much more than what it is.

Ok, this had a small balcony, connected to two other balconies, with a nice view. But the room was poorly equipped. The two queen beds were jammed into the sleeping room so that one bed partially impeded the door. There was no light at all in the sleeping area. Floors felt sandy and edges of rooms looked dirty. The tub in the tub/shower had a broken stopper. The ice bucket did not have a liner—ok, I washed it before using, but used to having sanitary bag in them. There were lots of toiletries and towels were fine. The beds, while on the high side, were very comfy and had good linens. It is in a very good location. Great beach access and some very good restaurants around. Breakfast was mediocre, but you can get a good breakfast at adjacent restaurant for a 50% discount as a guest. It is an old facility that needs a lot of upkeep. We got room for around $200 for night which is much cheaper than most beach view places. At night they do have nice fire pits around pool area.

We have ALWAYS stayed at this hotel and have loved it with it being close to everything. This WILL be our last there. Location was great, rooms were not bad but needed updating. Everything outside was filthy. There was trash in the pool bathrooms, the bar by pool that was never open had trash behind it. No cleaning service in rooms unless you gave a 24 hour request. We even used the pool skimmer to get the trash and cigarette butts out of the pool so we could swim. The older lady at the front desk was very rude and seemed bothered with any questions.
Best part was CK's bar downstairs. All the staff was great and the food was good. Will defiantly be back to that bar.

We had room 210. At check in @ midnight this is what we walked in to. mold on the ceilings Ripped and filthy curtains Light fixtures that didn’t work 1970’s stovetop in the kitchenette Couch with terrible stains Lumpy pillows No phone to call front desk You also have request a room cleaning 24 hours in advance. They will not even give you clean towels unless requested 24 hours in advance. When we finally did get our room ‘cleaned’ they replaced the towels and just remade the beds with the same sandy sheets. They did not refill toilet paper or soaps in the bathroom. If you can handle this, then this place is perfect. The walk to the beach is right across the street.

Booked two rooms for one night, I was overcharged when I booked the reservation on line. When I left they supposedly submitted two credits,, one for each room, However my credit card only received one credit and Beach View refuses to submit the second credit. The hotel leaves a lot to be desired, horrible rooms overlooking a parking lot, other than a small pool it has zero amenities, yet the still charge you a resort fee, what a joke.

This is one of the filthiest and dirtiest hotels we had stayed in Clearwater beach. The check in process was normal and straightforward when we came in. Thats when normality stopped and the crazy experience started. The room was filthy dirty with stain spots everywhere, bed sheets that seemed to have hair and other spots, the bathroom with hair all over the sink and shower. The beds are set right by the outside hallway windows, and the curtains do not cover it entirely, so privacy and safety is questionable. Under the beds and by the nightstands it seemed like they were cleaned for days/weeks. You couldn’t walk through the floors barefoot, since they had dirt/sand all over. When we approached the front desk that we will cut our trip short and go to another hotel and were just expecting to pay for the night we stayed in, we were told to contact Expedia for a refund for the rest of nights. Expedia tried but unfortunately but this hotels policy is to not care of their guests concerns. We even told the front desk to have the hotel manager to contact us, but still to this day no one reached out to resolve our concerns. Do yourself and your family a favor and book with a brand name hotel in the area that cares about their guests. As frequent Clearwater Beach visitors we never had such an experience and witnessed such a horrendous facility.

The BeachView hotel is a dump! We prepaid for a four-day stay here in Clearwater Beach and went to Phillies games during the day. The town, the beach and the restaurants are great but right in the middle of the town is this hotel. It's a dump! The rooms are filthy dirty, staying here reminded me of a thrid world country.

We checked in for the Double queen with a "Stove Top"; upon check in, the clerk reminded us of the No Smoking policy, however after getting to the room at 10p, the distinct smell of previous smokers was overwhelming. The room was old and beat up and the stove top was relatively sketchy. My son was pretty scared of the place and slept on top of the sheets fully clothed that night. While we were originally booked for an entire week, based on the room and our potential to be sick, we were able to check out the very next morning. VERY luckily, across the street at Devon Shores (would recommend 1000 times over) had space for the rest of our week. I messed up in booking this location and would not subject myself nor my family to these conditions again.

The front office was horribly rude. Not only in person but on the phone. I informed the front desk there was blood on my sheets. Not my blood or my sister's blood but blood that was on the sheets before I got there. The morning shift front desk lady called me a liar and sent someone into my room to look it over and they did see the blood but left it. They took care of the garbage but they didn't change the sheets. When I returned and asked them to have someone change my sheets. She told me straight up " no" she smiled " it is to late in the day now ". I was appalled this lady told me that they would not change the sheets on the bed. My sister had to bring the sheet down and be like " Here you go. Can I get another one now, please?!" The mid shift girl was grossed out... Haha, imagine how I felt . Front desk needs all sorts of training. Morning lady was completely rude to me at every interaction. Mid shift all but refused to answer questions asked about her name and the hotel managers name. Straight 1 star because the view was pretty. The breakfast was also a joke. Needless to say I will not be recommending this hotel or staying here in the future.

We were allowed to smoke on the balcony and allowed to smoke at the pool bar. Please note when we were there it was not crowded at all and there were 4 of us smoking at the pool bar and there was no one using the pool. The bar was not open and we always cleaned up when we finished.
There are more places to choose from in the Clearwater area.
