The entire staff is very friendly and very helpful. I had a small issue with the A/C not cooling as low as I preferred and maintenance had the entire unit replaced with new in less than 20 minutes The rooms and beds are very clean and comfortable, even though the furniture and paint finishes are a bit dated and below what one would expect as this price point. There are mini fridge and microwave, and each room has an interior (card lock) door as well as a slider with access to it's own small patio or balcony area. Stand out staff are Andrew and Mark - maintenance, and Linda and Dawn - front desk.

I stayed at La Quinta Clearwater Central for 3 weeks with my family. We had a really good stay.
The bedroom was enormous with 2 very comfortable queen size beds, an arm chair, spacious closet, a coffee maker and a small empty fridge which was invaluable for such a long stay.
The bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower.
There was also a balcony with chairs and a table which was lovely.
The hotel provided a free breakfast made up of a cooked breakfast ( scrambled and boiled eggs every day plus either burgers, bacon or cooked ham) as well as cereal/toast/waffle/bagel options too plus tea, coffee and juice.
There was plenty of free parking, wifi, washing machines/dryers in the laundry room and a computer with a printer at reception.
The hotel itself is really beautiful with palm trees of all varieties all around it and within the inner courtyard which also has a fountain, gated pool, hot tub and pagoda.
I found the service to be second to none. Really friendly, effective staff and cleaning crew went out of their way to help in any way. I would like to mention a staff member called Andrew who provided stand-out customer service to the family.
The hotel was really well located: a 10 minute drive to Clearwater beach.

This place is anything but quiet. Loud music started blaring at 4AM on our second night. I called the front desk and she sounded annoyed. She said she didn’t hear anything. I told her it was coming from the pool area. She then asked if I wanted her to investigate. No, I called because I was bored at 4AM. The music stopped within 5 minutes. It occurred again the next night, but not as loudly. The building is old and needs to be updated, especially the bathrooms. It was more like a motel. We heard the person above us stomping around late at night and early mornings. The toiletries they provide can’t be any smaller and their standard is housekeeping every third day. We needed to arrange for daily housekeeping. I expected more from the Wyndham brand.

This property is clean and comfortable. It is getting a little long in the tooth generally, but we had no problems to speak of. There is no fitness center. We travel with a small dog. Upon arrival we were told there would be a $25 per day "dog cleaning fee" for each of the first three days, but that the fee would not exceed $75, regardless of length of stay. That sounded okay, at least it is what is normal these days; however, we were then told that cleaning would be only every third day of our visit. There would be no cleaning the first and second day unless requested. Inasmuch as we were being charged $25 per day, I couldn't understand why we weren't getting cleaning every day. The friendly lady at the reception desk stared at me blankly when I asked about this policy and said, "Some people only stay one or two nights." Is it me or is there something odd about being charged $25 a day for pet cleaning when there is no pet cleaning the first two days?

Linda was very cheerful in helping us check in very detailed on explaining where everything was on the map. We loved that our room led right to the pool that was a nice feature to have. Breakfast was hot and fresh Todd did a great job making sure everything was cleaned and stocked. We will definitely be back soon for our next visit here 10/10 exceeding our expectations.

If you are staying in this area, this place can’t be beat. Absolutely skip the crack den next door if you are considering saving a few bucks and make your way to the La Quinta and drop the extra cash. You will save yourself on the substantial medical bills from the MRSA infection that you will contract from any surface in that place.
The staff here are top notch and very accommodating. Jodi and Emily were fun and entertaining. Also, gave great recommendations for local nightlife and entertainment.
The pool and hot tub are amazing! The rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the walk out terrace was a nice touch. The crown jewel was the continental breakfast. Normally, I’ll take it because it’s included but I would never say that I love it. But here, I’ll make an exception and say that I looked forward to it. An honorable mention needs to be made for the 24/7 coffee and fruit infused water in the snack area! Bring your water bottle and fill up all that you want. They will keep it coming!
Overall, I would stay here again when I come back to the area!

I was visiting family for a week and just needed an affordable and quiet place to work and sleep. The location is in a busy area and very convenient to shopping and eateries. My room had a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and sink. Super convenient to get food from the grocery store to make a quick lunch in the room. Speaking of food - the continental breakfast room was super clean with many hot and cold options I was extremely satisfied.
The property is a little older, but I saw the staff working around the clock to keep the grounds SPARKLING! I could not believe how clean the grounds were it made the hotel feel like a little oasis and made you forget that you are so close to all the things! I will note that my room faced the courtyard which was lovely. I’ve stayed at much more expensive hotels that didn’t hold a candle to the cleanliness of this hotel. Additionally the staff was on top of everything and super friendly which made me feel very safe since I was staying here alone.
The room was clean and very comfortable. Since I was using the room as a remote office, I was happy that it was nice and quiet during the day, the internet was reliable and worked great. I had one of the larger rooms with a desk and chair and was comfortable with no complaints.

We had a wonderful experience here. The rooms were clean, staff was very friendly, convenient location. They have a good breakfast and run it efficiently. We stayed a week and staff continuously offered fresh linens or asked if we needed anything. Only had one problem, guest laundry machines were not working when we needed. General Manager(Stephen?) had staff take care of our issue. Both Manager and Asst. Manager (Dawn) were extremely accommodating, as well as front desk staff. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a blast on my stay here. Ms. Tonie was such a delight and very helpful, everything we needed was available even extra towels for swimming and hot Jacuzzi was offered whenever needed. I would most definitely recommend this nice and cosy inn to my family and friends when in FL. Keep the good work Ms. Tonie and thanks to you we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay there.

If you are in a 2nd floor room in"Building A" (where you would check-in), those are stairs only. If you have a 2nd floor room by the back of the hotel or on the opposite side of where you checked in, those buildings have both stairs and an elevator ("Building B and C). I hope this helps!!!
