Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We booked a one-bedroom suite for three nights while staying in the St. Pete/Tampa area. We wanted something that was close to the beaches, but not at the 'close-to-the beach' price.
The suite was spacious and generally clean. The main issue is that we had a couple of slow drains to deal with. The tub and sink in the bathroom both had this issue. There were two TVs in the suite. One of the remotes were not compatible with the TVs, so we had to use the one remote for both TVs.
The outdoor pool was very nice. We spent a decent amount of time in it. Would appreciate a little more shade poolside, since it always seemed to be sunny.
There is a changing room/towel room by the pool. It was a little hard to find. Travelers also leave some beach toys and other temporary accessories for others to use.

This is the first time we've stayed at this property. Our suite (232) was clean, quiet and spacious with comfortable beds. We were not disturbed by the proximity to the airport and the sounds of planes were not very noticeable.
The staff were universally friendly and helpful.
The only issue we had was a very noisy mini-fridge. We had to unplug it the first night. (We reported the issue immediately.) The next morning, when I went to ask about how the replacement was coming along, I was told the maintenance person was off that day. That's when ZAKIRA stepped up and said she would find a dolly and get a working fridge from an unoccupied room. Within minutes, we had a new fridge and the old one was removed. GREAT SERVICE!
The daily breakfast had many hot and cold options and some of hot options rotated daily for variety. Scrambled eggs, cheese omelets, sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy, potatoes were kept well each morning stocked by CAROL, the breakfast attendant. She was quite friendly and very efficient. We enjoyed starting our mornings with her.
We will return when future trips take us to the area.

The hotel itself is just ok. It's generally pretty scruffy. It has a VERY high occupancy rate and worn and grimy furniture is a product of that turn-over. With the exception of the manager the staff is especially friend, helpful and professional. The breakfast is quite good for a budget hotel. I had a suite and it was very roomy. The towels were plentiful and fluffy. The bed was firm. The sofa and chair were both "well-used". Separate semi-kitchenette counter, sink, and refrigerator. The refrigerator was missing some interior parts i.e. a bar on the door and the drain so water accumulated in the bottom of the frig. I've stayed there twice and would again because it's reasonably clean and.the price is great for St. Pete area.

Staff was friendly, room was horrible. First impression of the hotel the parking lot is 1/2 cautioned off and the pull up area is blocked off due to the roof falling in. Then, When we first walked in to our room the nightstand was covered in water so much that the drawer in the nightstand had water in it from the ceiling leak! The ceiling was falling in, in several spots. We let the front desk know asap when we arrived it was late and we had a long day of travel. The next day we let the front desk know again they sent maintenance up to take pictures but no compensation no apologies. Not to mention the bathroom was gross and covered in mold in several spots. I would never stay here again as there are several other reasonably priced hotels in the area that I’m sure are not gross!

Stayed here three nights over a weekend. The hotel is close to the St. Pete airport on a busy highway convenient to many things. We arrived earlier than normal check in on the off chance a room would be ready. We were greeted very warmly at the front desk by a very friendly person who checked with housekeeping and found there was a room that had just been cleaned and was ready. The hotel was very clean and inviting. Our room was comfortable and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and attractive bath. The AC was quiet but just enough white noise to block out any traffic sounds, so the room was quiet as well. Nice TV and internet connection. The hot breakfast with DIY waffles, eggs, cereal, sausage or bacon, and coffee and juices was excellent in a nice area just adjacent to the lobby. I had to use the business center for some work and it was a real help. We did not have a chance to use the heated pool or the workout center. And the price was right. We would be happy to come here again.

Somehow, almost every hotel we stay in, they do not adequately provide the proper and decent amount of amenities for ADA. I am not an architect, but if I was to design a hotel room for ADA purposes, I would design one that first considers a person in a wheelchair. Carpet, narrow passage between the bed and dresser, inadequate sized bathrooms with limited bars and a shower system that was more amenable to someone in a chair. Note to designers, not all ADA people use walkers or canes.
WIth that said, we were disappointed in the whole room and bathroom configuration.
Additional concerns: Everytime I stepped on to the elevators they stunk. Whether it was an old smell or that someone who just lit one up or brought their heavy duty smoker's smell into the elevator, they smelled. The floor was sticky, and overall, they were just dirty.
Breakfast had very little change from day to day. The same "plain" oatmeal, yogurt kept running out or was just not replenished, and old muffins as dry as an Arizona summer day.
Last knock: Certain front desk members were very nice and helpful. There was one that seemed rather snippy and would comment if you asked for extra towels. SHE could use a lesson in customer service.
Positives: Good location. Great pool. Room was comfortable with a decent corner chair and well working A/C, which for Florida is crucial.

Our son had a hockey tournament this weekend and we stayed at the Comfort Inn. The hotel was clean and comfortable but what made this such a great trip was the hotel staff. They were all extremely friendly and helpful. At check in they gave the kids gift bags, they were so accommodating and tried to get all of our team staying in rooms near each other. The staff assisting with breakfast was extremely nice and helpful. The last day of our stay, we thought we might have a game later in the afternoon and they were great about letting us check out a little late. We would stay here again, and really appreciated how nice everyone was.

Arrived 6/29 at 11:40PM after having to leave another motel that we had booked and paid for due to the state of the room. The gentleman at the front desk was great. He was kind and empathetic, he got us booked into their last room they had. He said if we had any issues with the room to let him know and he would personally address them. 10/10 service, room was good, beds very clean and comfortable.

Excellent hotel clean and friendly staff Got the queen suite which consisted of two rooms with two tvs. The channel and movie selection was unbelievable . Beds were very comfortable and in the morning the hot breakfast had eggs, sausage/bacon, breads, waffles yogurt fruit coffee and juice. This place was like staying at an Embassy Suites for half the price

This hotel is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Some of the rooms are better than others and I actually preferred the rooms which hadn't been remolded yet. The remodeled rooms have bright white institutional lighting, instead of warmer, pleasant, and more comfortable (for me) lighting. The included breakfast is very basic, but kept warm and certainly meets your needs before a busy day. My only real concern is that the elevator inspection certificates were several months past due - perhaps even half a year. The front desk clerk just dismissed my question when I asked about them.
