My stay was better than I expected. The front desk women, Erin who checked me in made me feel welcomed. She was very professional and check in me quickly. I had to come back to get towels and a cup of coffee which she made fresh coffee for me and went and got towels and brought them to my room. The hotel is lucky to have her on their staff. The breakfast was good waffles were great the sausage gravy could of been better but when I went to the front desk to ask them to make more coffee and tell them there was no cups the young girl acted like I was bothering her with my requested. Thank God for the gm Brenda who was also there. She came right out and was happy to help me.

I used a booker to find me this value hotel in Clearwater, closer to Tampa Bay than the beaches but that was okay with me. Three nights in one room isn't a thorough investigation but I found this to be exactly what I thought it would be and not as bad as reviews. It's old but clean, a little rough around the edges but they sure try hard. What is anyone epecting fo $70-ish a night. The check in window is regrettable and morning breakfast not much. But my room was fine. New carpeting, spotless bathroom,, soft mattress but appeared to be new or newer sheets., etc. Very nice pool area. As manager told me when I asked about all the negativity. 'We'rer not the Ritz-Carlton and we're not on the beach but we try hard for wha we charge. This is not a luxury hotel but for a few nights as a bargain, sure!

This hotel was fine in that the room was freshly painted and clean. There is a heated pool too which was wonderful. However, I was on foot, relying on Uber and public transportation. There were no nearby shops or restaurants in easy walking distance. If you're staying here with a car, you'll be fine. If like me, you'd prefer easy walking to restaurants, no a good choice. Staff were helpful except at check-in when I had the unfortunate experience of facing a young, inexperienced clerk who was not familiar with the system.Even though I had called and confirmed my reservation the day before, he couldn't find it. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the desk at all. After five minutes or so, I started shouting for help. I was hungry and tired, and after awhile, just went behind the desk to leave my bag so I could get something to eat. Finally the inept clerk showed up. The next day, the hotel apologized about the reception explaining that the kid was new and not really ready to handle the reception desk by himself. Yeah, lucky me arriving at just that moment.

I was there for Gasperilla "2023" Upon check in I wanted to put the bill on another credit card that would allow me to get points and rewards but the management said it wasn't allowed because i had booked thru booking.com Never had this issue with any other hotels. I had asked for a specific room and that building was down for renovations. When entering the room there were 6 large black spiders that they took care of but then i found several in the room as well. The Breakfast is a joke! Coffee and little debbie's, no fruit, no actual creamer except in a can. No milk, no eggs, no cereal, nothing but Coffee. The bed seemed ok, except it falls off the 2x4 railings under it. USB port on lamp needs fixing. Refrig was great and cold. The Housekeeper " Lashun " went out of her way and came off her break to get me a rubber bath mat for the tub as i almost slip and fell in the tub. Tub was extremely slippery. over all i will come back after the renovations and see if they are doing any better, met some nice and talkative people. Great atmosphere and centrally located for the price. Will return!

Following Hurricane Helene, and before Hurricane Milton, was rendered homeless and scrambling to get a hotel room which were in short supply. Called Holiday Inn reservation center. Was told there was no availability (Although when we physically went to the Holiday Inn, they had rooms available). Was "steered" by the center to the Rodeway Inn. Was told that a special rate was being given to hurricane victims, and fooled into believing that the less than 100.00 a night rate didn't reflect the 1 star motel that the Rodeway Inn is. The "special" rate was a total lie--this same rate was available on all Rodeway's booking sites. Upon visiting the Rodeway Inn, there was no way we could stay there. All the terrible reviews on this site appear to be true ! Cancelled my 4 night reservation within a few hours of making it. Of course, despite the hurricane related flexibility shown by every other hotel I dealt with during the 2 weeks I was forced to live out of a hotel room, Rodeway Inn is standing by its claim that my reservation was "non-refundable". They apparently just care about taking your money. Be forewarned about the type of people you are dealing with.

The walls are dirty! The bed was made with blood spotted sheets. I pulled the sheets off and left them on the floor was the towels looked/ felt dirty. The beds sounded worn out. I tried calling the phones weren’t working. Went to the desk the works didn’t know what was going on stated they would clean the room the next day I came back my card didn’t work. The sheets were in the same spot the towels were in the same spot the trash was not picked up. Horrible. Save your money and stay next door (La Quinta) a lot of trash horrible streets pot holes and debris. Don’t stay!

I Tried to Check in 30 min after the 3pm Check-In time and was notified by a nice woman at the desk tht I still had to wait another 30 Min. Her name is Sara, She was very nice and personable so I didn’t mind waiting. Tht place is lucky to have her.
I ended up waiting about an hour to still have a Ripped and Broken Chair tht was actually painful to sit in, A Sink tht is rusting away, Baseboards missing and a really dusty Clothes rack…
Since I booked a 3-night stay and boy 2 towels were provided, the 2nd night I ended up running low on toiletries and needed a new set of towels. When I approached the front desk there was a different woman, her name is Brenda, she did not want to accommodate me at all. I simply asked for toiletries and towels, she responded with “We’re all out.” I smiled and responded by asking if there was any toilet paper or tissues at all and she gave me just one roll of tp.
I noticed there are multiple machines on site tht take only coins so I went back to the front desk to ask if there is change or change machine available. Same woman tells me “I don’t have change and I never keep any up here.”
So not only do I have to go buy toiletries and wash towels tht were supposed to be provided, I couldn’t even wash and dry the towels unless I go and get change from some other establishment???
It’s unfortunate because initially I thought this could be a regular place to stay as I have been relocated to continue operations for work due to hurricane Ian. This would be a perfect midway point between work and home.
After this experience I’ll make sure to consider other options in the area.

Booked the hotel because it was close to the baseball ground, and I was on a budget. However, it was not good. The pool was out of use, and the whole place just looked unloved. The bathroom wasn't clean or was so old it looked unclean. The worst part however was the breakfast. It's a room with a few tables/seats, and a very poor selection of prepackaged sugary snacks and a waffle maker. So poor in fact, that we left straight after drinking the poor coffee and went elsewhere.

Had to ask for the room to be cleaned, we booked for a week. Cleaning was sub par, had to ask for toliet paper and towels, bed linens were not fresh, wondered if they were even washed, looked old and worn! Lady at reception desk flat out lied to us when we reminded her that we previosly told her that we had a disabled son and needed daily cleaning. Walkways filthly, parking lot a disaster, breakfast poor. Would never stay there again. Stay next door at la quinta. much nicer.

The walls are paper thin. We were kept awake by the constant bickering of the people next door. Air-conditioning also very loud.
No power outlets next to (or near) the bed which is annoying if you want to charge your phone but still use it.
Wifi almost never worked. I mentioned it to the desk. They supposedly had someone looked. We were there for 4 days. Only got my phone connected partially on the first day. Laptop worked about %5 of the time.
Bed was extremely uncomfortable.
We usually leave the do not disturb on the door but we inadvertently walked on some sand so we left it off one day so the cleaners could do their job. Not only was the sand still there we were short one towel.
