We stayed at the Sea Captain at the beginning of May. We had vouchers to spend with American Airlines and after a week in Vegas decided to use them to visit Florida for the first time. We didn't want to hire a car so looked for a hotel close to the beach and found the Sea Captain. What a wonderful...

We were at this hotel last year, and on the whole were very happy with it. A new hotel has been erected just behind them that is due to open soon, I guess. The rooms and grounds are kept exceptionally clean and neat, with Pepe working long and hard to keep it that way. He seemed to start working at...

Forget the typical hotel, if you fancy a Hyatt or a Hilton - go shag yourself off to the nearby death towers of nameless rooms and faces to grab your mounds of bacon and eggs off cold buffet tables which could be the same from Detroit to Dallas. If you want something difference keep reading: This place is just an...

We just returned from a great stay at the Sea Captain. I was looking into staying at one of the more expensive hotels but couldn't stomach the rates, plus the Sea Captain had better reviews than any of the fancier places I was looking into. We made a great choice! As everyone states the rooms were immaculate as were the...

Have stayed at the Sea Captain many times and have enjoyed every stay. The location on the marina has a soothing effect watching the boats come and go. Just being lazy around the pool and talking to other guests or walking around the marina to one of several restaurants might make you decide to stay a few days longer. We plan...

This was our 7th year visiting the Sea captain and Its just the most amazing place. The location is just perfect. The staff are so friendly and the place is spotless. Including the exterior which is managed by Pepe who does a fantastic job. He has to be commended for how beautiful the place looks. I never thought I would...

We picked the Sea Captain for it's location and price. When we checked in we noticed our room was directly next to a construction site, my husband does construction for a living and needless to say did not want look at one during vacation. Tom at the desk found us a room on the second floor which was perfect. The...

My earliest memories of the Sea Captain Resort are from my childhood. My parents took us there each Spring for our family vacation. My sisters and I had tons of fun swimming, playing shuffle board and walking over to the beach. It is the same great experience all these years later. A recent trip to the Sea Captain with my...

Nice small hotel close to beach; where the staff treat guests like extended family. Clean and simple rooms with good floor plans that make the most of the small space; even a kitchenette that we found very helpful to make our stay more affordable by eating out less. Great pool kept very clean. The kids enjoyed seeing the ships and...

This place is emaculately kept. The staff is very friendly and it is our favority place to stay. Getting your reservations may be difficult because of the demand for rooms at this hotel. Pool is clean and warm. Flowers and grounds are wonderful. The marina is a beautiful view from most of the hotel.
