The people here are very rude. We paid our bill and they never even asked how our stay was. We were just back to our room from breakfast when they came to clean The room. Then we got a call from front desk asking why...More
Stayed in this hotel for a few days in July 2017. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. It is right by the beach, which was nice. The only thing negative it was right on a very busy road and lots of traffic.
This was a last minute place for us to stay! I would not recommend it to anyone. It was by the highway and it was noisy and the room smelled moldy or musky. I noticed mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and it just...More
Unlike other quality inns, this hotel has a small kitchen slab & cutlery too along with a small round dining table for people upto 3.
Staff is pretty friendly and suggested good places for dinner.
Room, bathroom is clean.
We stayed here after losing power due to Irma. It was a last resort as all other hotels were booked up. On the upside, the room was clean and it had hot water and air con and a bed - which was a step up...More

Not that close, but which beach are you talking about? There's a nice beach at Fred Howard Park, which I'd guess is about a 20 minute drive from the hotel. The beach at Fred Howard Park is very nice and a short drive away, but, the beach at Caladesi Island is world class! I'd recommend it if you have the time to go there. I believe the nearest town to it is Dunedin, and you have to go to the state park there and take a ferry to the beach. As I recall, the ferry costs about $5.00 per person, but it's worth it. It's a nice short ride through the Mangroves to get there, and there is a locker room where you can change into your swim suit, a snack bar and a shower to rinse off.
Caladesi Island beach is well worth the extra drive and the fare for the ferry. If you're only going to one beach, splurge and go to Caladesi!
