We had a great stay at Winter’s. Everyone at the resort is super kind and helpful, and as a guest, the personal touch that comes with being at a smaller/boutique-feeling hotel like this makes the experience even better. Tiffany at the front desk was very welcoming and made check-in a breeze- She even upgraded us to an ocean-facing room! Despite the weather being on the “colder” side for most days of our trip, the convenience and walkability of this hotel made our trip great. The beachfront/pool area is immaculate, and it’s fun watching the boats come and go through the channel over the course of the day (several dolphin sightings too). Frankly, we prefer this “point”‘location on the inlet over staying on the main beach- feels more private, without sacrificing the white sand beaches CWB is known for. Room was renovated, very clean, and daily turndown service was thorough. This was our second trip to CWB, and we will be staying at Winter’s from here on out!

Really nice little resort at the very end of Clearwater Beach right by the little inlet the beach is very well maintained. Can’t even tell that it was a disaster a few months ago they’ve done one heck of a job. The room was very spacious and clean. beds were comfortable everything was very clean. The pool is heated and warm. The chairs out in front of the beach are amazing. Definitely stop by and see Allen or Mel don’t treat you right make sure you have the chair you want nice and clean the only 10 bucks for the whole day. I wouldn’t say negative, just so you know when you get there, the elevators are a little sketchy. They make some noise, but not to worry. Also, there is a resort fee, which is very common but a lot of that money goes to the aquarium. Probably the most important thing you need to know is if you bring a rental car it’s $25 a day for parking. Location is amazing. There’s a little liquor store across the street. The cabana in the lobby has good breakfast and drinks. It was an amazing weekend away.

Allen at the beach was really helpful and kind. He kept the beach chair area well kept by brushing off chairs, picking up trash, collecting beach toys/buckets left by other guest and even offer to take family photos. I highly recommend visiting!

Hidden gem private beach spot at the south end of Clearwater beach. Away from the crowd, quaint , quiet and family friendly. You can reserve a beach chair and umbrella for all day long for $10. The beach attendant - Mark - was so pleasant and accommodating. I went out to grab the best spot around 7 am. And he explained that I could hold the spot and come & go as needed. He later came over to check on our family to see if everything was good. The (non-alcoholic) drinks we got at a bar were refillable at no extra charge all day. Water was very clear and I could spot so many fishes. Some of them came and nibbled at my feet. Can’t ask for a better vacation spot than this. Ultimate relaxation!

I was here to see the Phillies' spring training. I got ocean front. Loved it. Overlooked the pool and the beach. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine though I found the shower floor to be slippery for me. Also, the sink for the bathroom is outside of the toilet and shower (different room) and they only have one switch which lights both areas. Tough when you have to get up in the middle of the night and wake everyone up. BUT it's minor.
Loved the bar (bartenders) and restaurant. Went there twice.
But the best part was Tiffany at the front desk. We were using Uber/Lyft to the ballpark and Sat we could not get anything to pick us up, even a cab. (Phils are popular). I went to the front desk and she tried calling a couple places to no avail. She then called this other place and got them to pick us up within 10 minutes. AND it was cheaper than Uber. Been awhile since I've seen someone go beyond their job! We got to the ballpark 10 minutes before game time! She made our trip.
I am totally going to stay there again. I like the location too. Thanks.

Staff on the beach was very, very pleasant and helpful and informative. 5 star they were very helpful and informative on things to do and taking care of us throughout our stay we appreciate the staff so very much. The rooms were very clean as well as the beach were very clean they were raking the beaches and cleaning the edges of the water while we were there supplied us with toys for the kids

Best small family resort.. the workers are beyond nice.. Allen - Ashley - Krista and Jen were beyond amazing !!! Love the beach and environment !!! So accommodating to your needs!! The rooms were perfect everything you would need… love that you have front row access to the beach and food and drinks served …all at a reasonable rate for a family of 4!!! 🏝️

The hotel like others in the area are still recovering from Hurricane Helene but they partnered with nearby hotels to create a top tier experience still. Our room at Winter was great, well furnished, spotless and the beds were great (if you like a firm bed, which I do.) There was always staff nearby, you could always find someone when you needed them. The private beach was great. The cabana was down due to the Hurricane but they adapted with a bartender outside taking orders. Mark and Mel were working the beach and making sure you were completely taken care of. Mark for example had great tunes playing, was super friendly and kept your items secure. Mel got us in the right direction to get Jet skis and great real estate on the beach. They have a partnership with next door so those looking for a heated pool will still have access while repairs are done. It was open late too with the pool closing at 10pm. Location is great with gelato, putt putt, and plenty of drinking options nearby. All and all this is a great hotel, with a great staff, and they're still doing everything they can to make sure your stay is great even though they are still working past the Hurricane. Would love to come here again.

The King Ocean front room had the greatest view. Windows opened and we could hear the waves! Room cleaning every other day which was ok. Microwave and mini fridge great for us to keep snacks, etc. New shower and separate sink was a good setup. Mariah at the front desk was a friendly and a pleasure as she made sure I had my hot tea water each AM from the hidden hot water supply haha! and warm, clean beach towels. Staff at Cabanas were friendly and breakfast there was good and reasonably priced, including the bacon which was delicious! Krista at the outside bar was nice and apologized for being newly appointed to the bar from the beach. Pina Coladas were delicious and did not melt or separate as most do at other bars. The chair attendant (retured Navy) and the garage parking attendant were all very friendly. Cant beat the location, too! We saw dolphins swimmming almost daily and there were millions of tiny shells on the beach every day! We will be back next time in Clearwater!

After booking with booking.com I still had $400 in suprise fees when we arrived. Though tge booking said free parking it's actually $20 per day. The parking garage is tiny! You won't find it on tge website but, the private beach and pool close at 8pm. Cabanas and chairs are available to rent, but you can't bring your own. Umbrellas and 2 chairs are $35 per day. It's very walkable to anywhere you want to go. I recommend walking due to high traffic and limited parking. Hotels outdated. They only brought us fresh towels because we asked. Staff is all friendly. Absolutely, love the waitress at the bar. We did see dolphins every day infront of tge private beach 10 feet away! Room was plenty big except tiny bathroom. Beds are cozy enough. No smoking anywhere on the property, you have to go next door to the Hampton which I must say is a much nicer hotel. They have a nicer pool and have a hot tub. Garage is shared with Hampton. We did enjoy the location and view, but next time we'll stay at the Hampton! The Hampton elevator works and isn't tiny. This hotel had one elevator for all guests and staff. Seeing the staff fight to get the carts out is sad. And trying to get a luggage cart in and out us a rask in it's own.

Yes, I would say so. It's probably a 10- 15 minute walk, all flat sidewalk. We saw plenty of people from near the hotel with wagons, and all their gear, headed to the public beach, which is HUGE. This was in February, so I assume the sidewalks would be more crowded in the mornings during the summer season. Restrooms and shower/foot wash stations dotted along the public beach, with a shaded playground near one end. Definitely waves and more space. There are a variety of beach chair rentals at variable prices too.
There are more places to choose from in the Clearwater area.
