We needed a hotel for a couple of nights before our flight from Tampa international. This was an excellent choice though a 25 minute Uber ride across the bay well worth it for the rate and the location. Good free WiFi too. A pool out back that was popular and well appointed.
Our room was really comfortable with a nice shower, a decent breakfast in the morning was a bonus though this hotel is right next to a Cracker Barrel if you want something a little more substantial. The hotel shuttle runs to Clearwater St Petersburg Airport.
All the staff were great, a 20 minute Uber ride from Indian Rocks Beach or you can take the 59 bus direct. On weekdays the Tampa International Airport bus 300 stops on Ulmerton across a very busy road. Check PTSA.net

Our stay was great! Looks like facility was newly renovated. Staff was great, room was clean and pool area was fabulous. Shuttle was free and they even sent us with a breakfast to go since our flight left early. I would stay again! If you need a place to leave your car, this hotel allows it for $5 a day and gives free shuttle rides.

This is a great little boutique hotel that you'll enjoy immensely. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms are large enough and well appointed. There are pool towels provided if you like a nice refreshing dunk in a pool or a jacuzzi. Breakfasts are different every morning and way above average for this type of establishment. If you are looking for a nice, cozy place on a budget - this is it, and don't be concerned by the closeness of a small airport, we didn't hear any noise from it in great part due to a fact that the windows have been upgraded. Also, the individual AC units in rooms are of a newer kind and therefore much quieter than what one would expect. We really liked our stay!

This hotel was ok - nothing really stands out. Room smelled really strongly of mildew or musty so if you have allergies make sure it’s not going to impact your stay. Place is 3 minutes to airport and has a microwave and Mini fridge - parking was not extra $ and they had a rental car place in the hotel

Spent five nights at the Sleep Inn Clearwater. The hotel has an airport shuttle, which is a nice bonus. The hotel is literally at the end of the airport runway, but is built well enough that I never heard any jets arriving/departing. Just an occasional prop coast guard plane.
The room was good-sized with a comfortable bed, lots of storage space, mini fridge, and microwave. The air conditioner was sufficient in keeping the room cool in the Florida heat. The only flaw was that there were no usb outlets in the room. The hotel has great hot/cold complimentary breakfast. There is also a very nice pool area.
Within walking distance is a Cracker Barrel, a couple of fast food restaurants, and a CVS for snacks and amenities [including usb outlet plug-ins].
The check-in staff was friendly and attentive.
Would definitely stay again if need be.

Beware - rides to the airport are not guaranteed…I stayed at this hotel specifically to be near the airport and have a ride to said airport. Sadly, I was treated very rudely by the driver who left 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time, then arrived back at the hotel 5 minutes after my scheduled departure time. When I cheerfully greeted the driver and asked him to take me to the airport, he proceeded to tell me that I was on my own and had to find my own ride to the airport. I was of course taken aback by his tone and statement, and asked him why this was, I was informed that it was because he had to move some cars and fill up the shuttle.
If I would have known that the shuttle would be leaving 10 minutes prior to its scheduled departure, I would have arrived at the departure location 10 minutes earlier, so that I could have been my normal 5 minutes early. I was forced to get an Uber and pay $15 for a ride to the airport to ensure I

I’ve been staying out numerous hotels the last couple months and this is by far the nicest. When you walk in your mouth drops from just how nice it is . They have a very professional friendly staff, a delicious free breakfast, clean room’s, and they even have a hot tub . You are right in the middle of all the hottest clubs and your close to the highway so you can get to Tampa or st Pete. I give this place a five out of five..

This hotel is located next to the airport but we heard no noise from the planes taking off or landing in our rooms. We had 2 rooms on the top 3rd floor (they have an elevator) one facing the pool/hot tub and the other room across the hall facing the airport. It was fun to watch the planes come in from the 3rd floor window & also when sitting down at the pool area. Since it was December, the pool was too cool to use but several people used the hot tub. We sat out by the pool area and had hot tea & chocolate in the evening. We were there a total of 3 days and enjoyed the wide variety of hot items at breakfast. The only thing that we did not like is that the beds sit very high. 32” to be exact. I don’t consider myself short, but I do like to sit on the bed and have my feet touch the floor, especially since there is only 1 chair in the room. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again. Tip: Ask for 3rd floor face airport to watch the planes landing – we heard no noise from the room.

We were in the area for a home search so wasn't planning to spend much time there. It was typical for this type of hotel. Small lobby. Front desk was pleasant enough. Breakfast was good with hot and cold items which they have different hot items daily. The pool area was better than similar hotels with some nicer stone work and lighting with good seating.
Was it clean? Idk. Is it ever? I try not to think about the vast amount of people who have slept in my bed before me. There was no obvious housekeeping issues though.
What I didnt realize is this is on a major busy 3 lane road with speeding traffic 24/7.
Cracker barrel on one side (have to walk through a dark lot and jump over some shrubs to get there ) The other side is some shady hookah lounge and other not so desirable establishments. I wasn't interested in walking towards that, even with my husband. Its pretty dark.
In the end I was sorry I picked this place due to the location. I would have checked out after one day if I didn't already pay for 3. If you are flying out the next day or cruising or just need a one night stay you'll be fine. Other than that for me its a no. But we did drive by the competition which is similarly bad. Three nights was too long at a place like this.

This hotel looks nice and presentable on the outside with enough parking for everyone. Right behind the hotel within a close proximity there’s St. Pete’s International airport. We stayed here for 3 days at this hotel and got a unit on a 3rd floor. There was some moderate noise from the occasional arriving and departing airplane. The nice thing about it was that we were able to see the airplanes right outside our window, and also in the lobby they have a big picture window overseeing the airport. It was nice being able to stand and watch airplanes taking off, especially looks nice in the evening. Thought I’d mention this to those who care about airplanes. Moving on to the check in. Our booking was supposed to start at 2:00 pm the day we arrived, but we arrived an hour early and they were just finishing preparing the room for us, and just as they were done, they allowed us to go in 45 min earlier. Check in was smooth. They have an elevator not far from the check in booth, so that made carrying our stuff in pretty easy. They also provided us with 3 access cards for 4 people, so that was good. It took some time to get used to how the cards work, though and on two occasions none of the cards worked and we went back downstairs to the check in and they fixed the issue instantly. Moving on to the room itself. The room was clean, beds were made nicely, carpets clean, all surfaces clean. Beds, blankets and pillows were soft. They provide with 4 fluffy pillows. Everything was clean and up to the standard. The bathroom was surprisingly small and too tight for 4 people. I had to get used to the concept of having to step outside of the bathroom to wash my hands, because the sink with the mirror are located in the sleeping unit. 🙄 The maintenance staff came often to pick up trash. The breakfast area was well maintained and with variety of food options: cereal, bagels, biscuits, fruits, coffee and tea. They also have a gym, which we were able to utilize during our stay. There’s also a pool outside and a small jacuzzi. In general, pleasing experience. Also, the attendants at the front were nice and helpful. Despite some inconveniences, I would still recommend this hotel. Clean and well-maintenanced.
