The first day we show up, the person checking us in was not very friendly nor professional. However, the next morning when stop to talk to Courtney about our room and extended stay. Courtney was very knowledgeable and super friendly. This was great experience for us. Also, the cleaning staff was good and effective including the person prepared our breakfast every morning.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights with our granddaughter. The property is very clean with respect to the rooms. The staff at the front desk was nice and welcoming as was the room staff. The breakfast is standard IHG Express food. It was well managed during the advertised breakfast times. The outdoor pool was nice and regularly cleaned. The lobby area and adjoining breakfast area was clean. The hotel has designated an entrance to the breakfast line and an exit to reduce exposures between customers. Unfortunately most customers had no idea how to read so it didn’t matter. The hotel needed some maintenance accomplished. Even though our room was clean, the sliding glass door to the pool would not latch due to corrosion on the aluminum frame. The only way to keep the door shut was to activate the security bar. Even then the door only closed loosely. Yes I would recommend this hotel to others but not any poolside rooms until they fix the glass doors.

We only stayed one night, very clean, easy check in-out and a very nice breakfast.
We were very satisfied. The King size bedroom had a sofa bed and a double privacy door to separate the king bed and sofa bed are, love this.

We stayed at this hotel for several nights. We were locked out of our room on the third night and told that we have to change rooms "for maintenance". The staff refused to tell us why. The room we were supposed to move into was already occupied. The hotel staff person we were dealing with told the people in this new room that they had no idea why we were claiming we were told to move into their room. Then they told me they didn't have to explain anything to me, a guest in their hotel. Stay away from this place, the staff are unprofessional, dishonest and I am left wondering if there are potentially significant safety issues with this hotel.

On road and business trips we usually say at Holiday In Express hotels. This did not meet our expectations. The hotel was filthy in an unhealthy way; mold in the bathroom and marijuana smell in the "non-smoking" hallways. The carpet was dirty and huge stains were obviously covered with furniture. The savior was the comfortable mattress, clean bed linens, friendly staff associated with the chain, and the window opened so you could let fresh air into the room. I asked for a 5:30 a.m. wake-up call it never came. Luckily, I had a backup alarm as I had an early flight. If we had time, and had not prepaid, we would have relocated to another hotel.

We were in Clearwater to visit family and needed a hotel for one night. In all honesty the Hampton Inn that was nearby did not have availability, so we booked at the Icot Holiday Inn Express. For a short one night stay this property was fine, and maybe it was us but the pictures of the hotel and property seemed different & nicer than what we experienced. The hotel is off a busy commercial road which is close to the Clearwater-St. Pete's airport with some surrounding office park and businesses .
The hotel staff was friendly, and the beds were comfortable, but we definitely did not take our socks off when walking on the carpet and things just seemed dated.
The hotel pool was being worked on which was not an issue as we were not looking to swim but would think the people who had rooms on the ground floor looking out over the pool got a wake-up call they did not expect.
We paid about $100 for the stay and again it was ok for a night, but would not rush back.

We stayed here two nights at the end of January. The front desk employees were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and we found the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of both hot and cold foods. There is a nice large sports bar/restaurant just steps away. Although the hotel is located in an area with many business and medical offices, there are several other restaurants withing a short walking distance.
We went to the fitness center to walk on the treadmills, but neither were working correctly. Our television was not working correctly. The front desk sent a person to repair it. In about 20 minutes, it was working. The maintenance guy was nice and friendly. HOWEVER, about 15 minutes after he had been in our room, out of the blue he blurted out, "I didn't get the shot, but I've had Covid so everything is ok". No, everything is not ok. My wife and I both felt uncomfortable in our closed room with him.

I just stayed there for a night after attending a show at the OCC Roadhouse. My room was available for early check-in at about 1:30. I was very happy with the room and the room and hotel cleanliness. The breakfast is as expected. I really liked how it seemed all the rooms faced the internal courtyard/pool area. Nice to look at and limits outside noise.

Under construction! we were not aware this hotel would be under construction. The gym facility is completely removed/closed. Great customer service.
Just real inconvenience to have the construction happening during your stay. The smell of paint through out the hall ways is pretty strong. There is plastic up everywhere and front desk is a fold table. The hotel room door SLAM so hard everytime someone on the floor closed their door its heard thorugh out the entire floor and you feel like your room door slams with it. It really is disturbing at 2:00am, 3:00am..I woke up every time a door slammed.
The staff is friendly and working the best with what they have as a set-up.
Just make sure construction/paint/renovation is complete before booking.

This was a stopover on a long drive along both Florida coasts for fun and relaxation. I arrived and the man at the front desk with a New York/northeastern accent was very welcoming and friendly. He and another man upgraded me to a poolside room which I graciously accepted. I noticed I forgot to bring my beach shoes and they were very helpful with directions on several places to buy a pair.
The pool is outdoor as most are in Florida. Nothing fancy, but did the job.
Bed was comfortable and breakfast was typical HIE fare.

There is the Pinellas Trail that is located within a couple miles from the property. Pinellas trail.
Otherwise we have a pond in the back of our property that has a sidewalk surrounding it. Approximately .25 mile long.
