We’ve been going to this hotel for nearly 10 years now. We’ve always loved it. Great beach access and fantastic location next to Ron Johns. We spent one night here for the SpaceX launch. The biggest concern was the cleanliness of the room. Given that we’re in the middle of a pandemic, we were expecting the room to be extra clean upon check in. It wasn’t. Not at all. In fact, it had a funky smell and none of the surfaces had been cleaned or wiped down. The phone had some kind of sticky residue on it as did the TV remote. Fortunately, my wife had brought Lysol and was able to clean the entire bathroom and also wipe down the surfaces. But, at more than $200/night, we were disappointed we had to clean our own room, especially in light of the coronavirus. Also, the room had no clean towels so we had to call down to the reception desk and have them delivered. On the plus side, it was nice to see Theresa again. She is the nicest and sweetest person and always takes such good care of us. She upgraded us to a suite and comped our parking. She is the best! So we were happy to be back at a hotel where we have stayed dozens of times. It’s just disappointing the room was not cleaner. Hopefully it will be better next time.

This was our first visit to this hotel. My sweetie & I got the top floor as requested. I opted for no cleaning service for the entire time we were there (3 nights). While I forgot to put the notification on my door knob before 2 a.m., when I woke up at 6 a.m. & mentioned this to the front desk, he gladly accommodated me & sent someone up to slide the voucher for the extra points under my door. I left the notification on my door knob so I could receive the voucher the next day too (I think it was an extra 200 Marriott Reward points per night for opting out of cleaning service). Well worth it to me b/c I know how to make my own bed & I use the same towel at my house too. The only thing I really needed extra of were face cloths. We use fresh face cloths every day & I took a couple off the cleaning cart when I saw it in the hall & let the service person know.

My complaints are: Water took forever to get hot & then didn't last long (in the shower anyhow). Water pressure in the shower was dismal. There are no night stand drawers & only one dresser drawer. I had to grab the ironing board & set it up so I could lay out my clothes from the suitcase. The room (514) was extremely dark even during daylight hours. We had to turn 3 lights on to get light in there in the morning. The only window is about 18" wide & in the corner. There's a huge empty wall (opposite the door coming into the room) that is empty & could have easily accommodated a window. That happens to be the wall where I put up the ironing board for my clothes (& is on the same side as the 18" window, go figure). The outlet plugs are on the side of the headboard (both sides). Who looks there? We found this out when a maintenance person came up after we called that one of the nightstand lights wasn't working.

Hotel is conveniently located among several shops & restaurants. Even a bar, restaurant & store in the same building. I would stay there again but maybe not the same room. I need light & better water pressure.

I truly appreciate that the hotel recycles. Two different bins (one for recycle & one for trash).

We spent one night at the Four Points by Sheraton before a full day at Kennedy Space Center. It was a great stay!

I used Marriott points for my stay, for those who did not know this is part of their collection of hotels. There was plenty of parking in the adjoining garage, and $6 per day is very reasonable. Check-in was fast and very courteous. The lobby is in the corner of a large space that includes the Cocoa Beach Surf Company surf shop, the Shark Pit bar and Grill, and a Starbucks. It is a cool and busy area. Ron Jon's Surf Shop is also right across the street. And there is a mini golf place two doors down.

We had a two-queen standard room, and it was huge. The beds were very comfortable. Beyond the beds, there was a large open area with a comfy chair, lamp, and side table in front of windows overlooking the Cocoa Beach strip. There was a long counter along one wall with desk space, drawers, a refrigerator, and coffee service. It was topped by a large, wall-mounted TV. The room also had a large closet, and a foyer area. The bathroom had a nice separate vanity area, and an enclosed shower tub and toilet area. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers on the wall.

We did not visit the pool. There were drink and ice machines on our floor, both stocked and working well. Everything was clean. I highly recommend a stay at the Four Points by Sheraton in Cocoa Beach!

Unsure of what kind of hotel this would be from seeing pics on the internet, we were pleasantly surprised of the location, the hospitality and kindness of the hotel staff. On arrival, easy checkin and precautions were taken for distance and staff wore masks. At elevator sanitizer was at hand. Cocoa Beach Surf Co Store located in same building along with Starbucks and the restaurant called Shark Pit. Ron Jon and McDonalds are right across the street. Get to the beach by walking just a few blocks. Our stay here was pretty great considering we had everything we needed close to us. Also a pool and hot tub located on premises.

Needed to get out of house for the weekend, so me and wife booked a weekend in Cocoa Beach. The hotel is very nice and situated right next to the Ron Jon surf shop on A1A. It is a short walk to the beach (just 1 block) and other attractions and restaurants. Now , the interesting part.. our room had one window which overlooked the inside of a retail store (Cocoa Beach Surf Co.) which is located inside the hotel. While I find this rather interesting, it also makes the room kind of dark the whole day. We had a mini-suite on the top floor which was nice and the beds were really comfortable. All the employees were friendly and wearing their masks to protect the guests and themselves. The hotel has a small pool with a waterfall which is oddly located in the parking garage area. They also had a restaurant on site which was decent, but there are many other restaurants around to try (I suggest the Sandbar, its within walking distance). They also have a Starbucks on site which was very much needed. We did enjoy the weekend away and hope to come back at some point

Check in was great, thanks to very kind man who checked me in around 10pm on Thursday Sept 17th, he was very helpful.

Here is the thing to know about this hotel, rooms either over look the city or have an interior window with a view of the surfshop (not RonJon) that is in the same building. I had an interior room, which normally would not be my preference but I thought it was very cool and the windows are heavily tinted and people in the store cannot see in, so no need to draw those curtains. My room was updated and very clean.

The pool is small and under the parking garage, it was clean when I was there and the hot tub was working The beach is just a block away. There are two beach accesses very close by I would go to the one that is on the north side of the hotel.

The room was nice, but the water pressure in the shower was very poor, and for being a beach hotel you certainly expect high water pressure to get sand off of yourself. If old nasty cigarettes oder is your liking, then you won't be bothered by that nasty smell coming from the hallway corridor. Sadly the showers water pressure could have been a non issue if the room was properly inspected by the Hskp team, and this review would have been much better. If you like a nice hotel pool, don't stay here. They actually offer another hotels pool because of it, but that one is 3 miles away. So who actually wants to go back and forth to another pool that's not even part of the same Marriott family. So no I wasn't happy with my stay.

Room Tip: Poor view, especially the store side. Our window on the 5th floor looks at a wall.

The Four Points by Sheraton Cocoa Beach should not be on your short list of hotels to stay at. Being a part of the Marriott family of hotels, one expects a minimum level of quality that is not evident here. In a nutshell, this is a $110 hotel that is charging you what the nice hotels are asking. At Best, this is a 2-star hotel with a 4-star price tag. Do yourself a favour and start your vacation off right by staying at one of the other places.
First, the ‘upgrade’ to the Jr Suite with Atrium view gives you a window that looks into the surf shop. Or more accurately, gives shoppers in the surf shop a view into your room. That is the only light you will get into your room, and now the shutters must remain closed. Do not ask for the upgrade, and for heaven’s sake, do not use an Upgrade Certificate for this.
The age and lack of upkeep and/or remodelling is apparent everywhere in this hotel; from air conditioning droning on loudly, to the bathroom with dented shower curtain rods and mismatched toilet seat lids, to small TVs replacing what once was a 42”. This hotel is suffering from time and last of re-investment. Even the pool is misrepresented and could use a good pool cleaning service.
If you had visions of doing some laundry while you stay, get in line for the single machine on the 5th floor and bring lots of quarters.
On a positive note, the staff is very friendly, they keep what they have clean, plus there is a surf shop just outside your window for all of your Beach activity needs. The beach is only a block away, straight up the road.
Listen, make your own mind up, everyone has different ideas of what is acceptable and when. If I was evacuated from my city to here, acceptable. In the middle of an awesome vacation, not so much. My family and I will never be back.

This hotel looked great on the website and was exactly where we wanted to be. However, the design is a little odd with most (if not all) rooms overlooking the inside of a surf shop causing the room to be a little drab and dark. The room was large, clean and comfortable but uninspiring which didn't match the our expectations from the outside. A major flaw was a broken safe which was not properly attended to despite us asking on three occasions to fix it. Very disappointing. We wish we had booked the Hampton or Marriott further down the road.

We were happily surprised with the Jr Suite we stayed in. It was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, & quiet. We brought our cockapoo along & she was very comfortable in her bed in the seating area. It was nice to know that there wasn’t a pet fee- you only need to sign a waiver. My only complaint is that although the room looked clean overall the bathroom floor & the area around the sink was not swept well. Also the fridge was not emptied & there was food from previous guests. I called housekeeping & they took care of it right away. Will definitely be back.

You can walk to the beach from the hotel. There's a long sidewalk everyone takes to get there. Including surfers.
