On approaching the Biltmore Hotel, the initial impressions are of a dated, monolithic structure, and the entrance hall and reception seem to confirm this; however, the hotel is modern and well-run, operates to high standards and provides a very comfortable night's sleep. It also provides a memorable experience: whether walking outside the buildings, admiring the truly massive swimming pool, enjoying... More

I stayed here 10 years ago and thought it a wonderful venue. I brought my bride here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I am sorry I did. This is a tired hotel. The staff even seemed tired as well. We ate lunch here twice and were left wanting both times. That being said the Palme d'Or restaurant was superb.... More

We stayed here on a whim because we were in the area and they had a room. The public area of the hotel are phenomenally beautiful and well kept. The wifi was fast. The room was immaculate. We probably would have appreciated the place more if we were golfers. As we are not, we set our time at the pool,... More

We had a wonderful experience at the Biltmore Hotel recently! From the outset we were shown exceptional service. Charles, a bellman, was very hospitable and informative about the hotel and the amenities of our room. David, a concierge, was very helpful with questions we had about the area. The harpist's music was so lovely to experience during the Afternoon Tea.... More

The Biltmore Hotel has undergone several transformations since its construction in the mid-1920s. When built, it was an act of bravado in both style and siting, soaring 15 stories in the midst of pine barrens far from the Florida coast and not even connected to the East Coast railroad. A military hospital during WWII, it was taken over by the... More

This beautiful beaux-arts property presides over Coral Gables like a proud, vain queen. Well, she should be proud-the facility is gorgeous and beautifully restored and decorated. Arriving feels stepping into a "Grand Hotel" of the past-up a curving driveway to the entrance with a sweeping view of Coral Gables. I was looking for Packard convertibles, ladies in cloche hats and... More

Great experience for a one day visit or for a few days. Food and environment are superb. We unfortunately I missed their tour of the facilities, which could be very cool considering the facilities' history.

We were disappointed to learn that on our final night, a wedding taking place in the ballroom meant that the walls and windows in our third floor room were shaking for 4 hours straight. This is a beautiful historic hotel (1925) that has gorgeous architectural details. There is a grand lobby, beautiful staircases that lead to a public golf course (Donald Ross design). There are old photographs that line hallways and it is really beautiful. On the downside, the service is not great, there is no quick place for breakfast or coffee. Floors in... More

The hotel's dining destinations include the award winning Palme d'Or, recognized by Zagat as one of the best restaurants in the country; Fontana, a traditional Italian restaurant surrounding The Biltmore courtyard and fountain; the poolside Cascade and the 19th Hole Golf restaurant. The hotel also recently unveiled its culinary academy offering an array of hands-on cooking classes for adults and children. The Biltmore is one of South Florida's preferred sites for leisure and business travel, high-level corporate briefings, public policy conferences, and an extraordinary wedding destination.
