WE stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn as a pre-cruise stay. Breakfast was great we forgot about drinks and dinner. But overall it was a great stay and parking for our car for the weeks cruise. Will definitely checkout this hotel again for cruises in the future. Sleep quality received a 3 for the pillows being very old and soft, but clean. My preference.

Have typically stayed at other Hilton properties before cruising and chose this one primarily because it was the most reasonably priced for this trip. Arrived around 7 pm and we were on the hotel shuttle by 7:30. Our driver was efficient and pleasant. Had pre checked/selected a room on the Hilton app. We were warmly greeted at the front desk and in our room quickly. We found the room clean, reasonably furnished, decent wifi, and adequate for a one night stay. No complaints. Note the room utilizes a single serve Keurig coffee machine with about 4 K-cup pods. (We would have packed a few of our favorites had we known). The front desk generously comped us a couple extra pods to meet our needs - nice.

Because we arrived after dark and weren’t familiar with the area opted to eat dinner at the in house restaurant which was adequate but expectedly a little pricey. We thought the eating area was a tad dated and could have used a little more attention to cleanliness. There is also a modest bar area. We were able to take a pleasant short walk to a First Watch the next morning for breakfast and would probably consider one of the nearby restaurant options in the future.

We used the available cruise port shuttle service the next morning which we found to be efficient and reasonably priced ($10 per person).

Would definitely consider for future cruises from Port Everglades.

We had stayed at this hotel some years ago and had a reasonable experience. Not this time though unfortunately we stayed here in the high season which means cruise line passengers, the place was mobbed.
Our room had an air conditioning unit that was so loud we had to turn it of at night to get some sleep. We know that hotel food is not generally great but it used to be better, as we were tired. We ate at the hotel on our first night, don’t do it just order something in.
As Hilton honors members we got given two small bottles of water for free which we had to use in the coffee machine as the water out of the tap does not taste good. I should add that those who were not members had to pay $2 for each bottle, be aware and bring your own.

I made this reservation on line as a Diamond Hilton member after staying over 20 nights in 2021 at various locations. Each time, we request feather free pillows due to a severe allergy, but no one location gets it right. I called the hotel a few days before and was told to call the morning of check in to request feather free pillows. I talked to Grace that morning who did not seem to get the point but finally explained to her the urgency to avoid severe allergic reactions and potential visit to the emergency room.
When we arrived at 4:30 pm the room was not ready so we waited 15 minutes while the staff had someone change out the pillows. The manager was apologetic but blamed staff turnover and a computer system that was crashed most of the day.
Room was kind of worn with a noticable scratch in sink. No real recognition of status either. Breakfast was too crowded given the current covid conditions so we did not eat there. Attitude seems to be we will deal with your request when you check in.

We stayed here 1 night before our cruise and chose it because of the location (close to airport with free shuttle), and because it had a 2 bed + sofa bed suite. Unfortunately the airport shuttle takes a while to get to the hotel because it is constantly trying to pick up other arriving guests. The room, although fine for 1 night, had small beds and the sofa bed could only fit 1 person. Location-wise, it was close to a McDonald's and Burger King, which is good as breakfast wasn't included in our rate. We also walked a bit further south to the Oakwood plaza where there was a Big Lots to pick up some last minute items. We didn't use their cruise port shuttle for $10pp as they only offered 2 departure times (9:45 and 11:45am). Ended up taking uber for $18 (which was a better deal as there were 3 of us). Overall decent hotel for 1 night before cruise.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before our cruise, friendly staff. Small lobby with free coffee which was a nice touch. Clean and spacious room but a bit outdated furniture. Nice bed but poor pillows. There are lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Shuttle pick up from airport to hotel was great service, driver was very friendly. We booked a return shuttle from hotel to cruise and cruise to airport at a cost of $10 person each way. It was very convenient for the guests and well organized.
It was a bit expensive for the price we paid, no complimentary breakfast. Good thing there is a restaurant (Too Jay) nearby for breakfast , lunch or dinner. Great food with huge portion. An order could be shared with 2 persons.
Over all, I would recommend for staying at this hotel for great location and shuttle services.

The exterior and lobby are deceiving. The rooms are old and outdated. The website says made to order breakfast is included, but upon arrival, I was made aware that it was only complimentary to Gold and diamond members. This was a disappointment, as it was one of the reasons why I selected this hotel. Lastly, it seemed like a full time job getting our room serviced by housekeeping. Daily, I asked the housekeepers to service the room and they’d agree, but once I returned to the room, I’d discover it hadn’t been serviced and would have to call down to the front desk and ask for service. The room was constantly humid, no matter if the air was on or not. It also smelled of mildew.

And when I asked for a manager, they said “There is no manager.”

We stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise and found it to be very nice and in a very nice area. There are tons of shopping and restaurants nearby and a shuttle from the hotel in the evenings will take you to some nearby places. The same shuttle also pick up from the airport. We did use the cruise shuttle at a cost of $10 but I would probably use an Uber or Lyft next time. The rooms were quite comfortable and we found it to be quiet and nice. I would stay here again!

Everything was delayed because of the computer not being online. The front desk staff wasn't very helpful. Because they couldn't process key cards, we had to have a hotel employee let us in our room. One time we waited over a half an hour. We were disappointed that the room was not too great as we had stayed at a Hilton in
Daytona that was excellent. The room just didn't seem to be of Hilton quality. Also, the breakfast was $12.95 while our other Hilton had a complimentary breakfast.Besides after the inconvenience of the day before our breakfast should have been complimentary.
We were able to leave our car in the parking lot for the length of our cruise. There was a van that took us to the port to board our cruise ship. That was a perk.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review and feedback. We are sorry your experience was affected by an internet outage and this caused difficulty in accessing your room. Unfortunately this was an area issue with AT&T and outside of our control. Also, please note that the Hilton Garden Inn brand does not offer complimentary breakfast. We hope to welcome you back for a better experience.

We were offered by Flair Airlines 4 nights here, paid, plus 50 USD credit for food.
This hotel is nice, clean, our room was huge, very comfortable, 2 queen beds, work desk, mini-fridge.
The hotel has a pool, a business center, and a very nice restaurant with an excellent chef. The choice of meals was fairly good, also their choice of beverages. The breakfast was buffet or a la carte, very nice.
The free WiFi was good enough for VPN and work (10 MB download / 10 MB upload).
The location is close to shopping and fast food, but far from Dania Beach for walking.
Free shuttle to / from the airport.
I would like to highlight the efforts of Mrs. Renee at the reception, her always excellent service, her willingness to actually help people by going the extra mile.

They are. I was told they do not get many pets because most people who stay there are about to go on a cruise. But when we stayed there in May of 2022 they said they do accept pets. You should call them to verify.
