Detailed Reviews
Max Beach left nothing to be desired. The room was modern and sleek. Everything was clean, as expected, and our family felt completely comfortable. We ate at the on-site restaurant daily; the options were tasty and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our kids loved the game room, the gym and most of all, the pool. If we need to stay in Daytona again, we will come here first!

My wife and I spent 3 nights last week at the Max Beach Resort on Daytona Beach for a quick trip from our home in Orlando. This is a brand new resort and luxury accommodations that you might expect to find in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami Beach. But the price was very reasonable. Mid range price for high end luxury accommodations. These are not normal hotel rooms, but are large residential condo size units with full kitchen, large living room, and washer/dryer room. Each bedroom has its own large bathroom. Ours was a 3 bedroom unit that overlooked the ocean with a wide balcony. The surf was up with glassy swells from the hurricane way out at sea. If you are a surfer, the perfect break was right in front of the Max. It's a very wide beach and plus you can drive on the beach here. Fun! The food was amazing. Gourmet level meals by a real chef. I personally met her. I highly recommend the shrimp tacos and grouper. The pool area is very nice and perfect for doing laps. Check out the top floor with free table shuffleboard, pool, foosball and other games. Top of the line fitness room overlooks the ocean from the top floor. You won't stop exercising because of the view! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to another trip and will stay a full week next time.

Best hotel we’ve stayed at in Daytona, and we’ve stayed at at least 6 beachfront hotels here. It is amazing. The condos are so well sound-proofed and that really matters to people like me who are sensitive to noises. The unit was gorgeous and the views are amazing. Every employee we interacted with was friendly and helpful. I can’t think of a thing to change. This will be our first choice the next time we’re in Daytona.

This hotel does not allow guests in your room, no one is allowed upstairs except those named on the room. The front desk will literally run your guests down, belittle them into tears then read you the riot act. This is inconsistent as sometimes there is no one at the desk even when you need something. The pool is small and crowded, nothing special at all. Definitely not what I would expect from a luxury condo. The view is an avg beach view of all the beach hotels. The food was good at the bar near rhe pool. Your guests pay $10- a day per person to use the pool but cannot go anywhere else and they $15- a day to park- not an issue but if the room I booked is for 6 people and we only have 3, I expect that I can have 3 guests (3+3=6) and that they can visit my room to shower and change. I have never stayed anywhere like this and needless to say I will not be staying again. Find somewhere else. This is not that great or unique of a stay to put up with this, there are many other places to stay with great pools and service.

We've stayed here two times now. The hotel is beautiful; the rooms are industrial, modern, and spacious. We booked our trips on Expedia, and we had no issues the first time. We booked a two-bedroom, and that's what we got.
For our second stay, it was just my wife and I, so we booked a one-bedroom for three nights ($718 total). They gave us a two-bedroom and said it was because they allow 3rd parties to overbook the rooms. We wanted to extend our trip and stay one more night, so we visited the front desk and were quoted $276, including taxes and fees; we told them we'd like to do that.
Unfortunately, this isn't what we wound up getting charged. They charged us $476 for the one night. There's no way we would have stayed there for that price; up and down the beach, we could have stayed elsewhere for around $200 a night. We were willing to spend the extra for convenience but not almost $300.
Based on other reviews, this seems to be a policy trend with this hotel, a fairly slimy business practice.
I'll update my review if they refund us, but they keep quoting me rack rates as if I wanted to spend almost $500 for a night at this place.
I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere, as we will.

Really bad business practices, I booked as an introductory offer a room for a special event in January 2024 thru Airbnb and since then they've let go of the host and canceled my reservations for no reason except to offer it again for three time the money. Now I've got tickets to the event, car rental, flights and no room and nothing is available either. This is so wrong

Stayed for a week and will be back! This place is a dream. Me and my family stayed for 5 nights to go to Disney. The room is comfortable. Plenty of towels. Full size kitchen. Full laundry in the condo. Complete with necessities like plates, pots, filtered water, dish soap etc. what made this 5 stars was the staff. From Eddie at the front desk, to Molly and Bre at the bar. The service with every staff member we encountered was extraordinary. It’s very rare to see that and my family and I definitely appreciated it. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend to all. The pictures are from the Vienna bar breakfast we had. Also the drinks in the bar are a must!

I attend the Tuesday Aum Shanti Yoga class on Tuesdays at 9am and totally enjoy the class. Taught on the 12th floor balcony overlooking the ocean it is both a relaxing and exhilarating experience. Have experienced many benefits like increased range of motion, better balance, higher energy level and my body just feel great. Highly both the yoga class as well as the amazing oceanside resort restaurant on the first floor beach. Peter, the head waiter, serves some very tasty dishes and Starbucks Coffee, what more could one ask for after yoga!

What a great concept this Hotel has. The condo/hotel idea is fantastic. My daughter had her own room and I had mine with beautiful ocean views from all angles of our condo. The GM at this establishment has put together a great staff beginning with your welcome from Shelby and Calli at front desk to the bar staff. From morning to night the front desk staff has your back At the bar Molly mixing up great drinks and Taylor looking out to make sure your are well taken care of. Make sure to ask Rick for dinner recommendations. The Dir of Ops Michael is a wealth of information in the area. My daughter got a kick out the friendly hello's and door opening from Freddy. The bar menu is a must for the sliders and the chicken tenders. Can not say enough about this team and how well taken care of this property is.

Service amazing, rooms are beautiful, food and drinks great and reasonably priced- the hotel is clean and the people are the best! The rooms are stocked with top brand appliances, beds are comfortable and views are stunning. The pool area is so clean and service for drinks is too rated. I can not say enough- it was a perfect experience!

It was not heated 2 weeks ago. It was open. Since weather here has been warm most keep pools open.
Yes, our room had a full size Keurig coffee maker. The beach is public as all beaches are in Florida. We were not charged anything extra for housekeeping.
