The room was very nice and clean. They even provided a rollaway bed for the fifth person. The shower was very clean and great pressure. Great coffee to go with the wonderful breakfast downstairs. Highly recommended
Basic accommodations. Room appeared to be clean. Worn out and outdated rooms. We stayed only 1 night. Was not comfortable with the atmosphere for kids or teens. Small room. Mold on bathroom walls, rusty vent in bathroom, shower rod was bent and curtain would not stay closed. Toilet kept running. Front desk personnel were helpful and accommodating.
This is by far the nastiest Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. Holes in the wall Cigarette stains on the tub Mildew growing on the tub and shower curtain Roaches The most uncomfortable bed I have EVER slept in!
We were evacuating from the hurricane and this place was pet friendly and within our budget. The rooms were a nice size as well as the bathroom. The customer service was AMAZING! And was oh so welcomed. India checked us in and was so helpful the entire stay. Housekeeping was great as well I wish I had gotten the lady's name but the moment we stepped into our room she made sure it was up to par and even left us a nice note wishing us a great stay. The hotel is near EVERYTHING! Doordash was our best friend. It's even in walking distance from a small beach and a park that if you have a small child it's perfect. Under better circumstances (not running from a hurricane) I would stay again. Thank you India for making an impact on us we really appreciated you.
The property is quite dated. Our room was sparsely furnished, one square table and two chairs. No desk. No microwave oven or refrigerator. The table and beds were dirty. Empty soap box on the bathroom floor next to the toilet.
I hated to rate it even a one...no room service, you don’t know this until you check in....the floors are filthy black..... roaches.... stabbing in the back of the motel....some of the ladies working the front desk very rude. Not a family friendly environment. Spend extra money and stay elsewhere
Honestly I was not expecting too much for staying at a Motel 6 in a beach town but the 200.00 daily rate for a room that ordinarily would be worth 29.99 a night in a hotel that allows guests to smoke marijuana in their rooms, no security to speak of is a bit too much. I understand it's "spring break" but there is no way a hotel can allow guests to openly break the law and at the same time expect their other guests who do not break the law to feel safe. Surely the owners of this hotel have to expect with open drug use and partying things could escalate to violence for other guests. I had to check out after the first night as I will not allow my wife and I to be exposed to drug use. We also found marijuana seeds in the bathroom on the floor and cigarette burns on the tub. There were no bath towels in the room as well. Just on the drug use, you really should refund my first night stay because you did not warn me as a guest there would be open drug use at your property. Had I known there was open drug use I would not have booked a room there.…
We stayed here 1 night out of sheer desperation before we could check into our resort for spring break. The one bright spot was the friendly lady working the front desk. The bathroom was filthy and had a hole through the back of the door. A lot of loitering and loud music. Just don’t if you don’t have to.
Sou if you are spend nights other hotel 6. This hotel absolutely same. But this hotel very good location. If you like fishing, rent pontoon boat, swimming in ocean or other activities this hotel for you. All activities just over the road. Restaurants, boats, souvenirs everything, crab island too!! If you like just chi-lout in hotel you can take Emerald Grande for 300-350 night. this Motel 6 cost 70-80 night. Sou for different you can rent pontoon 250 4/hours!! From minus A/C too loud and working days somebody start cut grass and cleaning territory around 6am!!! Our room was with kitchen and we did breakfast there.
We stayed here for a quick nights stay before checking into another place. The place is disguistingly dirty. The pillows were about 50 years old and flat as a pancake. The shelf between the beds was literally hanging off the wall. The worst part though was that at about midnight someone went door to door banging as hard as they could. I thought I was going to be killed! We called the front desk and was told the sheriff was on the way, but it went on for another 5-10 minutes. Never again!
