Detailed Reviews
This is positively a place that I will return to (and already have) over and over again. You must plan for this vacation by making sure you have proper directions to get there as it's a little out of the way...which makes it that much more special. If you're looking for seclusion this is the place. Breakfast is provided each morning consisting of farm fresh eggs, homemade bread and jams and coffee or tea. Plan to eat out or alternatively bring your own steaks or (whatever) to barbeque. Everything you need to barbeque is provided and there is a small fridge in each room as well as dishes and sink. If you plan to eat out, there are restauraunts in nearby Alma, which is about 15kms away. Also, if you have extra time and can drag yourself away from the Artist's Garden, there is Fundy National Park, which has an entrance right in Alma. The room we stayed in is furnished with antiques and a beautiful clawfoot tub. Outside, there is a magnificent garden and pond to relax by. There are many nooks and crannies to discover throughout the place. The proprietor is also an artist who has a store front with her unique pottery. The main feature, which I've saved for the end of my review, is the private beach that can be found, very close to the premises. Look for the path under the impressive archway leading to a series of secluded beaches. Bring a picnic down to the beach and enjoy!! You'll be glad you chose this wonderful garden paradise.

Next year when we come to the Bay of Fundy area, we want to spend several days here. If you need something high-tech with all the cookie cutter details of a city hotel you probably would not like it here. If you are looking for a very cozy place to stay where the scenery is mind blowing and nature prevails, then you need to try this place. The owner, Karin, is gracious, friendly, and very helpful.
The rooms are quite large, all come with kitchen facilities and the use of a Barbeque Grill on a broad porch overlooking the Bay. There are some nice places to eat in the area but bring your own groceries, get some fresh local seafood, and have a blast enjoying the view and a great meal. Karin does supply "fixins" for breakfast and the farm fresh eggs and home made jams were excellent.
There is a nice trail on the property that leads down to a pretty beach and into a nature reserve with additional hiking trails. The location is also close to Cape Enrage and the Fundy National Park with unlimited outdoor activities.
Overall, a very unique and fabulous place to spend some time.

Pretty little cottage in Fundy Bay with 3 rooms.
We were staying with our 7 months old baby and my parents in both rooms which are located upstairs.
The place is very beautiful, close to a private beach where you can admire the tides.
The rooms are not well isolated however and we could hear people talking in the 3rd room down the stairs.
Karin is kind and she puts stuff for the breakfast in your room. We were staying for two nights but she forgot (?) to put stuff for our second breakfast...but after asking, she gave us what we needed.
The place itself is very nice and definitively could be a nice choice in Fundy Bay.

We love going to the Artist's Garden! It's our favorite place to stay in NB for a getaway.
You are surrounded by nature, walking trails, a few rocky beaches and about 20 minutes away from Fundy Park. Perfect for nature lovers. You have your own room with kitchenette so it's very private. Each room is unique with works from local artists, Tim Isaac and Karin Bach. The all around experience is charming and very inspiring. We are always welcomed with a friendly smile from the owner. We look forward to return year after year.

Found this B&B on a government web site and booked it after looking at the web page. A few miles out of the main tourist attraction of Fundy National Park, this is definitely worth the drive. Karin is so friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was available for our stay. We picked up a few groceries and ended up "staying put" for 2 nights. Very cozy, beautiful garden, organic environment just helped us unwind. We would not hesitate to come back here again. We felt very much at home.

This is an ideal place to stay to explore magnificent rural Albert County and the Bay Of Fundy with all the sights, sounds and smells that nature lovers and artists will cherish. The Artists Garden is in a very natural setting overlooking the bay and a tidal river. The rooms are very pleasant and comfortable with a great bed. You will sleep well here! It's best to bring food as restaurants and markets are not close or plentiful. We found some good restaurants in Alma where Fundy National Park is, about 12 miles away and there are others to find in the area that you may want to experience. Breakfast is no longer served at The Artists Garden. There are many sights to see, some well known and many hidden if you like to explore. Karin's property is delightful and there is an enticing walk down to the river and bay. Karin is super friendly, pleasant and helpful. If you want to replenish your spirit I highly recommend The Artists Garden Gallery & Bed and Breakfast.

An Artist's Garden is the perfect getaway for the writer in search of both inspiration and creative abundance. I've spent many hours here, and multiple visits, with my pen and notebook, wrapped in one of Karin's afghans on the veranda, listening to the tide shuffle in and out. Restorative is the word that comes to mind...the peaceful surroundings, the contemplative garden, the beautiful, private cove just a short walk away. Rocks. Birds. Sunsets on the coast. The accommodations are lovely, with thoughtful comforts and unique features borrowed from nature. Kitchen is equipped for simple meals. I eat lightly for breakfast, so enjoy being able to make my own, in my own time. I always enjoy browsing through the pottery studio, and looking for hidden treasures in the garden. Always something new.

If you're looking for a serene, quiet, and magical place to stay near Fundy Park and Waterside Beach, this is it. We totally loved this spot and the owner. The views of the bay, forest and gardens were stunning, even in late October. Our room was spotless. The bed was comfortable (loved the quilts!), and the kitchen had enough pots and pans etc. so we could make dinner each night. (But do bring your own food for lunches and suppers, because the nearest grocery store is 20-25 minutes away.) Karin provided us with breakfast makings: farm fresh eggs, homemade jams and muffins, wonderful bread, fruit, and terrific coffee, etc. In the evenings, she even brought us a lovely plate of crackers, cheese and olives to have with our wine. Generous gal. We'll be back in the spring, hopefully.

This "bed and breakfast" was our least favorite in our trip. The cook yourself "breakfast" consisted of 6 eggs, three pieces of bread, a small carton of milk and a few tablespoons of jam. This was for two people for three days! This is very, very poor compared the the wonderful home cooked breakfasts found in the other B and B's. The positive was that there was a small kitchen with very basic supplies (two tiny pots, no baking pans and a fry pan). There are no grocery stores anywhere near by, so on one of our day trips we picked up some cereal, yogurt and fruit for the next few days. The apartment was O.K., clean, but quite worn. The walls are thin and we could hear all the conversations in the other apartment. The common deck area had a nice view, but again quite worn as many light bulbs were broken or missing. There is a rough trail down to the water and we walked down to watch the tide come in. We expected more for the price we paid! This B and B is located near to Hopewell Rocks Park. This is a must see when visiting the area. We took the free 90 minute guided tour which was wonderfully done by a park staff member at low tide. The park admission is good for two consecutive days so we returned 4 hours later to see high tide. Amazing!

We stayed 2 nights here during our trip to the Maritime Provinces. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and interesting! Our favorite part, though was the deck area and the trails to the bay. What a great place to witness the tides of Fundy Bay!
Karen was a wonderful and generous hostess providing delicious breakfasts, advice and conversation when we wanted it! The cast iron tubs are beautiful but a bit difficult to navigate for people "of a certain age"! Thank you, Karen!
