My boyfriend and I just returned home from celebrating our 4th year anniversary. We stayed in cottage number 2 and it was absolutely amazing. So cute and extremely clean. We had a two bedroom cabin but only stayed in the room with the king bed and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back. The kitchen is supplied with all you need for an everyday meal. The views were amazing. The location is completely worth the small drive. They even write your name on your cabin door which I find adorable. Tracy makes the whole process very easy and welcoming. Overall it was more than amazing and we will definitely be back.

I rented 3 cabins for myself and friends for the weekend. Everyone was quite happy with the cabins, and the quiet, peaceful location. There are plenty of attraction nearby, and all 4 adults, 2 children and one dog had lots of fun.

Lovely cottage, has everything you need. Only need to bring food/beverages/charcoals & igniting fluid for BBQ (not expensive). Close to many attractions - Cape Enrage, Alma, Hopewell Rocks, Fundy Park to name a few. Playground in sight of all cottages. Plan to go back 👍

Cottages are compact, but fairly new, well maintained and well equipped. WiFi is fine. Nice view of the Bay on sunny days. About 15 min by car from Cape Enrage and Alma, which has several restaurants. Between Alma and the cottages there are two fine sandy beaches - one huge beach at Long Marsh (Waterside) and Dennis Beach, closer to Alma. No well-stocked grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead - suggest you bring some paper towels and, if cooking, some spices. The cottage manager will send you a detailed email with directions and advice. There are two hiking trails from the cottage, one goes inland to a lake, the other is across the road and leads to a nature reserve on the Fundy shore. Both are worthwhile. Cottages are close together - that could be a problem if there's a noisy neighbour, but no problem in our case.

Drives are beautiful, about 20 mins into attractions but well worth it. Cottages were clean and equipped. Just bring food and games! Owner made it very easy to check in and out, perfect spot for a couple.

First let me say that we have stayed in several rustic cottages all over NB & NS & have never been dissatisfied until now. We booked this place for 2 nights for my birthday & didn't even stay the second night because of the cottage's overpowering musty smell & absolutely terrible view. The poorly maintained cottages are on a hill in the woods on the opposite side of the road from the bay. There is no "panoramic" view of the bay of Fundy as stated on their website, and the "trails with beach access" are down the hill, across the road, through another person's property & through more woods. No charcoal or lighter fluid was provided for the bbq. The shower head was way too short & water pressure was very poor. The only good thing about this place is that it is close to several great attractions (Hopewell Rocks, Cape Enrage, Waterside Winery & Alma). A very big disappointment overall & do NOT recommend!

Sorry you had a horrible stay with us, but we have never had a complaint about our cottages smelling musty or not having a nice view of the bay. In your comformation it was stated we had charcoal barbecues and that you had to supply your own charcoal.

These cottages are located in a magical place! Very clean cottages and amazing owners (our chats were a highlight!). There are lots of trails both to the Bay of Fundy and behind the cottages to a magical part fresh part salt water lake that is completely REMOTE. The shoreline is amazing there and lots to do in the area. Naturalists would LOVE this location. Cottages are very cute and laundry facility great. Close to Hopewell Rocks which was nice but other local beaches were the highlight! Thank you for the great trip Captain's Lookout Cottages!!

We booked three cottages for the second week in July for a family vacation to celebrate a milestone anniversary. All three parties were extremely satisfied with the cottages. We found them spacious, the beds were very comfortable, the TV and DVD player in the living area was great! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans for meal preparation. The veranda, which had a table & chairs plus lawn chairs, was a great place for a morning coffee or a place to relax after a day of sightseeing! The BBQ was also great. The play area for the grand kids was also very nice. Tracy was very helpful in booking the cottages and well informed about places and restaurants in the area. We all agreed this is an extremely nice place to stay. The cottages are in a central area for visiting the sights around the Bay of Fundy. Thanks Tracy for an enjoyable week! Bob R

We had a great time at the cottage. It was clean and stocked nicely with kitchen utensils, pots, pans, salt pepper etc. The view of the bay was beautiful and so was the walk to it. The lake in the back was well worth the hike as well. Tracy was very accommodating and helpful. I would go back to these cottages for sure.
