Came here in the afternoon with my sister after visiting Shark Valley Tram Tour, Airboat Tour at Safari Park, and Big Cypress Oasis Visitor Center. After quick check-in, visited the Fakahatchee Preserve, had dinner at Island Cafe. We rested our heads in a room at the lodge (dorm style with shared bathroom - there were two showers with shampoo and...

We stayed one night in an ensuite room. Old world charm offering spick and span rooms. Central to explore the Everglades National Park and surrounding areas. A very satisfactory experience. The venue also provides rooms with shared bathrooms, which I cannot comment on.

We stayed in the cottage and it was wonderful having a screen porch to enjoy in the mornings and evenings with a glass of wine. We received a box lunch each day with a huge sandwich that we had to keep in the cottage refrigerator and then heated up in the microwave so a kitchen did come in handy. I...

The hotel was a good economy choice--$99 plus taxes per night for a room with a shared bath. It was as expected for that price. Nice to have breakfast included. Good pool for the kids. (Might look into Rod and Gun Club inn for a similar experience next time.) The highlight of the tour was our morning kayak trip with...

Our 2 nights here were fine except the women's bathroom was not large enough for all staying. There were only 2 toilets/shower combos, inadequate in a.m. Breakfast to die for! Both Cory and DJ did fun paddle tours!

We enjoyed a 4-night stay while kayaking the Everglades with a Road Scholar group. The Ivey House had a nice breakfast and other food was delicious. Nice pool, laundry, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Another plus is it's convenience to restaurants and town.

This hotel embraces old florida with the quaint photos, screened in pool, and excellent customer service. We were a bit hesitant to stay here, but couldn't find anything else and wanted to have a paddling trip from everglades city, so we ended up here for the night, and it worked out great. We stayed in the lodge, where there is...

Very nice family run hotel, good buffet breakfast. Room had Wifi, AC, ceiling, fan, TV. Great little pool in an interior courtyard with tropical plant landscaping. Kayaking tours run from the hotel and they are fantastic. Highly recommended.

Stayed at the Ivey House for one night after doing an airboat tour further west on route 41. Stayed in a simple twin room in the Lodge with shared bathrooms. There is no sink in the room. My boy and I didn't really mind about this as we're used to staying in hostels. The Lodge is a lovely old barracks...
